Anyone have issues with auto focus just not working at all? This camera takes blurry, poor pictures most of the time.
Also.,what resolution do you guys use the most?

Anyone?

well it is VGA
What do you mean by lag?
I have both phones... just held both up using the FFC on each. The MT4G seems to be quicker to respond (by maybe 1/4 of a second) and has a bit better framerate, but has a ton more noise so I think it could just be a software tweak that would equalize the two.

Hey again XDA,
I know the nexus 4 is capable of focusing the camcorder for macro and other shots. However, for some reason, on cm 10.1.2 and .33 radio I don't get this option. Does anyone have any success on other radios/bootloaders or has dealt with this issue? Thanks very much.

You mean't Camera, Camcorder records video.
This could be either an issue with the camera application or it is missing from the application.

I meant video. S3 has a feature to actively focus on whatever is happening (automatic focus).

Well the Nexus 4 doesn't have such thing but you can attempt to get the S3 Camera but it may cause issues (gallery is joined to camera).

Oh OK. Does it have regular focus on the camcorder then? For me its just infinite focus, not controllable at all.

Unfortunately the user really has no control unless you record when the device is in the best focus.

This can't be right..

Use lgcamera app. The camcorder recording gives you touch to focus control. I read someone say it reduces the quality but i didnt notice any frame drop or reduction in quality.

Got kinda the same problem, fully stuck but when i want to take a picture of something close it just doesn't focus. even when i tap focus 100000 times.
Hi, I would like to have best possible pictures quality and been thinking if it is possible to set ISO on 100 permanently and have it every time when I turn the camera on.

Not to my knowledge on the Stock app, no.
If you want a better picture quality, best to stop using the Stock camera altogether. Try FV5.
I will give it a try. Thank you.
