My friend has an optimus l7 (stock rom) and I need to go into the recovery mode but I don't know how On my optimus 2x you press volume- and power, but on the L7 wich is the button combination to get into recovery?

I wanted to do a backup with Rom Manager, it was restarted and he remains fixed on the LG display, will not turn on! I tried to send him into recovery mode or reset. unsuccessful ( hold key home+ vol down + power and also only key home + power) what else could I do? sorry if I wrote here but there is no section on the P500, Help me please. tanks

try powering on and then when its stuck, plug in to pc and see if it shows up. If so, start an upgrade in diag mode.

Well I would give help but.... I dont own this phone!
Well guys, this was the stupidest thing I've done in my life. I was downgrading my L5 with CM10.1 to LG stock rom and by mistake, in KDZ Updater I choose a rom that I had for my L7.
My L5 works, but it only appears a screen with some vertical and horizontal stripes. When I turn it on, it vibrates and does the LG sound.
What can I do now? :crying:

Dowload mode is working? so you can flash a L5 version of ICS/JB

No, I can't even get to the download mode. I push the + and the - button with the power button, but nothing happens..

Push the volume buttons down together (no power button), then plug into your USB. It should enter download mode

Nop, nothing... on my computer it only appears "LGE Android Net MTP Device"
Sometimes it's not just volumen - while connecting to usb
Try keeping down volume + and volume - to enter download mode WHILE connecting usb cable, sometimes work
take the battery out, then press and hold volume+ button, and then connect to pc while holding volume+. Hope this was helpfull.
Still nothing. I've tried everything you guys said...
Edit:: I did it. I took out the battery and then pressed the + button while connecting the USB cable. Thank's!
Now I'm getting a "Model DLL MSG Not Found" when trying to install a L5 kdz with KDZ Updater. I've reinstalled the MSXML but still nothing.

i have same problem and its nearly imposible to fix.i send it to warranty and they replace all phone
Try to start in emergency mod.
With the battery off and vol down connect to the pc. See if start on emergency mode. Can t remember if it vol down, try up too

The solution was volume down key and put the USB cable to enter in recovery mode. It worked and I flashed the proper ROM

I reverting to stock my lg g2 ...
If i flash 4.2.2 D80210a i cant enter hard reset ( like recovery) with pressing volume down + powerbutton buf if i update to D80220D i cant. Its kitkat feature or problem in my phone?
I restoring g2 over guide back to stock which ar on forum

with d80220d it changed and it is:
-power off phone then hold volume down+power and when lg logo pops up let go and hold volume down+up don't touch power

Do you know what the code is now for entering download mode? It doesn't let me in with volume up + plug in usb.......

I installed FluffyRom (which is based on Simple Rom) on my D802 and everything was ok.
I was not happy with the ROM so I did a Nandroid restore of my previous install which was BlissRom
After reboot I can see the LG logo, which then flickers a bit and fades away and then black screen.
If I connect to my Windows PC I can see the internal storage. If I long press the power button, something vibrates and if I tap the screen I can shut it down so I assume that the rom is running but I do not get the visuals.
I would like to have it working again, what can I do as i don't have an idea... the only thing I found out is that the baseband has been changed by the Simple Rom install ...

Have you tried either of the following:
Download Mode
Power off your G2.
Hold Volume Up and plug your G2 into PC via USB cable, keep holding Volume Up until your G2 displays "Download Mode".
If in Download Mode follow this tutorial.
Recovery Mode
Power off your G2.
There's 2 possible options to access Recovery depending on your current Bootloader.
JellyBean Bootloader
Hold Power+Volume Down, when the LG Logo appears let go of Power+Volume Down and again hold Power+Volume Down.
KitKat Bootloader
Hold Power+Volume Down, when the LG Logo appears let go of Power+Volume Down and hold Volume Up+Volume Down.
Yes, to power off your phone, long press power button for 15sec.
Then enter recovery with vol down + power like @d00lz say.
(Hold Power+Volume Down, when the LG Logo appears relaise Power+Volume Down and press again Power+Volume Down.)

but now I'm stucked in lock screen unable to bypass it, even I cant boot to recovery just stuck in logo . Any suggestion ?

Boot into recovery using fastbootand then flash this. Hope it works...!!

hey there thanks for helping, I figured by myself after sweating like hours now my precious phone back to online
but i wondered after installed TWRP and CusRom why Power Button + Vol Up didnt work only showed splashscreen and I need to press Power Button + Vol Up and Down simulateously instead to enter recovery mode ?

1) power + vol up => Download mode
2) power + vol down => Fastboot mode
3) power + vol up + vol down => Recovery
