Hello everybody.
Is here anyway I can use the Nexus 10 with wifi on monitor mode? I imagine it's difficult to do it with the wireless card it brings, so is there anyway I can use an external wifi dongle in monitor mode? I have the wn725n v2 dongle, the driver is rtl8188eu, is there anyway to put in the kernel and make it work in android? Or install an os with complete linux installer and make it work there? Thanks in advance.

Hi is it possible to switch the wifi in monitor or injection mode?
Is it possible to change the mac of the wifi card?
I tried CM6 + Debian Testing, macchanger show it changed the mac but the router shows the old mac.
Maybe with a patched Kernel...
If not please tell me on wich device you got one of this working and how ;-)
that needs a custom firmware, i haven't seen anyone on it
Hi everyone i'm trying to use the reverse tether app with my NexusHD2 2.4. The app seems legit but the problem is located to the device drivers.
I'm running Windows 7 ultimate x64. Currently my device is recognized as Android Composite ADB interface
Even normal tethering is not connecting and i get a usb fail.
i've read that i need the Remote NDIS based internet sharing device driver to work i was unable to find one working.
Is there anyone solved this problem. If yes please provide the appropriate drivers.
Thanks a lot
p.s. Yes, i really really need usb reverse tethering and no there it to possibility to share through wifi.
I think that unfortunately currently is not possible to do that, but if you use the search maybe you can find some help.
Hi all, I have a usb external wifi dongle for my N7 that I can bring up in a terminal and it works ok, but I cannot get any android aps to 'see' it , If I launch an ap it only offers the std. internal wifi chip (wlan0) for connection and not wlan1. Can anyone help with some pointers how/were I can mod to allow aps to use ext usb wifi wlan1 ?
Many thanks

Hi guys and gals, got serious headache for you lol, How do i enable the external alfa antenna awus036h to work as wifi instead of the internal one ?
so far i installed kali pwnpad rom and updated gapps and running on 4.2.2 jellybean with that a4 tweak apk in that other thread , now got it flashing when i have it plugged in and reboot nexus 7 but wifi wont stay on keeps switching on and off constantly.
I also noticed when i first tried to switch wifi on for a very split second i could see loads of wifi access points lol.
Any ideas on how to disable the stock internal wifi so it only works on the external antenna?
Hi Eveyone,
I am a newbie just trying to run Kali on Note 3 sm-N9005, I managed to root the device and install a custom kernel Thanks to XDA, but now I am stuck at the Internal WIFI adapter of Note 3 not working, I know that presently Kali is running as a VM but heres the interesting part !!
When I installed WICD on kali it detects the WIFI networks, also I can toggle the Wifi option of my phone on/off using WICD..
But I am still not able to use airmon-ng to run mon0.
What I am assuming is that WICD has some wifi Driver inbuilt that has bound the wifi card of my Note 3 but it is not able to share this driver with the rest of the apps.
Please correct me if I am wrong, and please help me in this regard...
My Idea is to somehow extract the wifi drivers from WICD and install them separately. Is it possible ???
