a) Format card with SDFormatter (Full Overwrite/Size Adjustment On)
b) Partition with CWM 1GB Partition, 0MB Swap.
c) Done!
Hye guys,
I need to wipe the internal storage on my TF101.
I have used superwipe but it still will not touch the internal SD partition.
Is there anyway to wipe this so i can start with a clean tf101?
On most recoveries you have to activate "Backup/Restore of internal media" and then Wipe data/Factory Reset will format your internal partition.
After flashing your ROM, simply connect the tf101 to the PC and manually delete all the files on internal sd. It worked for me
Got it done with TWRP recovery. It has an option to delete system and internal memory

Im trying to format my internal storage. It seems there is always data retained after deleting everything from the internal storage in windows. So before i do another clean install of a rom i want to start fresh. The problem is when i go into Philz and format /sdcard it isnt doing anything, the retained hidden data is still there. Is there a easy way to format it and start fresh? Cheers
I have a similar question, does formatting internal sd also wipe everything (except system) from root (/)?
Can anybody help me resizing the app partition from 1 GB to near about 3 GB?

^^Try this app.. Do at ur own risk. And also note that the old cwm backup will not work after repartioning storage

Goto recovery.
Take backup on external sd card
reboot
install thisapk
Start the application and select the amount (I choose 2.5gb)
reboot into recovery mode
wipe data/factory reset
restore ur backup
reboot
connect ur phone to windows pc as USB storage
format the internal partition (be careful dont format sd card)
Now I have 2.5 gb internal, 300mb phone storage.
AND SUCCESSFULLY RESTORED MY OLD BACKUP.

ran the app and chose the 4gb option, rebooted into recovery mode, did "wipe data/factory reset", restored backup, rebooted, connected phone to windows pc as USB storage, formatted the internal partition.
all is well. now I have 3.94 gb internal, 9.69 gb phone storage. (earlier - 0.98 and 12.70.)
I want to know the whole criteria of Lenovo-A3000 storage, I mean it has an Internal Storage, also an SD card, So:
1- is SD card included inside the Internal Storage?
2- is SD card separated by accessed through the Internal Storage?
3- is SD card totally separated?
and Now, if I choose to wipe data/ factory reset from some recovery tool like CWM, is that will wipe all data including SD card data?
and at last, why the device reads the SD card as it's at /data/media directory while this is not obvious when accessing the Internal storage through some file manager or through the PC usb ?

Internal SD card is just an emulated storage. This means, that the INTERNAL STORAGE (not accessible without root privilegies) is /data and INTERNAL SD CARD is /data/media. When you wipe data/cache using recovery, it wipes /data and /cache EXCEPT /data/media. When you wipe INTERNAL SD CARD, it wipes ONLY /data/media
Great Info

Great topic from TWRP
I found also this great topic from TWRP team which declares clearly the Data/Media behavior
