After that you MUST "trick" the r&d update tool and lg mobile software to drowngrade to the "newest" firmware version

what did you do? im trying to use KIES but i dont have the serial.. can you msg me your serial so i can atleast get KIES to download the software? msg me
Kies won't work if u updated to 4.3. Kies 3 won't work either. If u soft bricked ur phone flash the cf auto root tar. It will fix ur error. We're just stuck with 4.3 for now.

kies wont do anything. After 4.3 update we can not downgrade. My issue is i cant boot into stock 4.3. I can only flash octos or other roms but with phone not working and problems as such.
ok somehow i fixed this. I followed the instructions using twrp recover. Only difference is that after i recovered modem and radio through custom twrp method, i used cf autoroot to get stock recovery back then used the update.zip posted in another forum, to update through sideload and it worked. Back in stock 4.3.

the 4.3 update.zip that got pulled out of someones phone before he fully updated from 4.2.2 to 4.3. You can find the zip file in the General section i think.
I was on stock 4.2.2 got the update and went to 4.3. Then i flashed a 4.3 tw kernel and everything got screwed. After that i went followed the instructions found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47113608#post47113608. First i recovered boot , then system , then modem then radio through twrp using the files found there. After that i booted used the cf auto root to go back to stock recovery. Phone was still doing the boot loop up to this point. Then i figured out that the backup was probably a 4.2.2 backup so i used adb sideload to install update.zip. After that i wipe data/factory reset and it booted just fine. Ok lost everything but phone works now like new.

Downgraded G2 F320 L/S from KitKat, boot loop no recovery.

I downgraded my g2 f320 l/s from KitKat with the shipped ROM 11g for the f320s via unbrick method here on xda. the ROM seemed to flash fine except that it keeps going into bootloop, and when I hold the volume down and power I get what I assume is the boot loader screen with 3 options all of which are in Korean and none of the will allow me to factory reset or boot into recovery. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: i flashed the kitkat .kdz file from a post on page 154 of the return to stock forum. If anyone is having the same issue refer to the return to stock forum.

you try to install the firmware with LG Flashtool 1.5 or 1.8 (to use this you can follow the steps in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476)
With this tool you must search the firmware for your phone in TOT + DLL format (not KDZ). For F320K you can find the v20f at
http://storagecow.eu/Xda/LG%20G2/Stock/Korean%20Models%20Here/KTF%20F320K/TOT%20Method/LGF320K_V20f%20e%20DLL.zip
I have resolved my problem with this tool

Recovery on 4.4.2 Not Working

Im currently using the LG G2 D802 and can't get past the "secure boot error" thing I have tried alot of different solutions that have worked for others but can't seem to get a recovery installed please help I am currently using [VDT-ROM] V11 Super Lite rom which is pretty much lg 4.4.2 stock with root
all help appreciated, cheers
there is no custom recovery for 4.4.2 yet..
the only way to have custom recovery is via certain method listed where u need to go back to 4.2.2 then upgrade to 4.4.2 with a custom kernel thats permit u to have custom recovery from 4.2.2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2681205 - but this is only for D802
Yea @zekurosu is right you do need to go back to 4.2.2 if your on the Official kitkat update. A lot of developers recommend using PhilZ touch recovery for now if you want to flash 4.4.x ROM's such as Cloudystock. Other recoveries have not been optimized yet. You can find more about it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2554053
Hope this helps!

I had a similar error with my D802 and this worked for me so you can give it a shot.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2500441
Once you've installed the recovery it should boot up into recovery. However, i was still 4.2.2 when i tried it so it may not work for you. Nevertheless, trying wouldn't hurt
Good luck!
Okay so now my problem is that I keep getting the 49% error, where flashing the stock rom which fails at 49%. (using lg flash tool)
I can still boot into the rom but can't access recovery

[SOLVED] [Q] From the 24A back to 12B?

So here's my problem;
I'd installed the VS980 24A [ROM] from my CWM recovery. The ROM works great and I have no problem with it but unfortunately I'd forgot to make a Titanium backup of all my apps and data from my 12B stock but I did make a nano backup of it! So I'd restored my 12B nano backup but when I'd rebooted the phone it was stuck in a continuous boot loop, fortunately I was able to get back into the CWM recovery and reinstalled the 24A ROM to get my phone back up and running. From what I read I'm assuming the problem is coming from the 24A baseband, so I was wondering if there's a 12B BB file out there I could zip to boot back up to a 12B Rom or do I have go thru the whole process of reflashing back to STOCK using the KDZ or TOT process and then OTA and reroot again? Thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide.
No all you have to do is find the 12b baseband and flash at the same time you are flashing the back up

Ok that's what I'd figured so my next question is where can I find that at?
I've done the 12B baseband search on the forum and I can't seem to find it?
Getting Closer
Ok after a little more research it's come to my attention that modems/radios/baseband are all apparently the same thing. So I'm downloading the 12b modems from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426&page=33 and will update you on how it goes!

Someone I helped earlier had the same issue. He reverted to stock using kdz method and his phones said rooted. He was still running stock ROM when he decided to use cse flash. After the flash was complete he booted up and to his amazement all of his files were still there and his root. So what I did was installed the tot and DLL file and restored using the tot method and surel after the flash he wasn't rooted and was on complete stock ROM. Try using the tot method and see if that works.
