Hi guys,
I wanted a rooted version of XXJPQ firmware....as I'm noir able to root it through the super one click.....
Please help and it should be rooted not odexed or deodexed...
Ha if live wallpapers are enabled well and good
So want only these three features
1.Rooted
2.Live wallpapers enabled
3.And also if possible remove the disturbance sound that occurs in music player while screen unlock is done/power button is used....
Apart from these three no changes
Nothing more than this....please make this asap....
Would be really grateful

BTW, can someone tell me what is a phone?

I would recommend to ignore this thread and let this be buried. We all ask help in some point, but not with this attitude!
And it's not a "new member" issue...

You actually think the people here are jobless enough to make a ROM customized to meet your demands?
For the time being, flash a Custom ROM (Kyrillos' or Indroid or something) and check This Thread after a couple of weeks. By then Kyrillos would've released v6.0 based on JPQ.
Well, I'm not sure if it'll meet all your demands. But still...
Dude you just got me wrong ..........actually the problem is i'm not able to root my phone on any of the stock ROMs so wanted a rooted XXJPQ so had asked ...............
i tried to root it with almost all stock ROMs using SuperOneClick but it always was on "waiting for phone"
yes you can root it with SuperOneClickv1.9.5-ShortFuse, because i rooted mine. do the boot method, you turn on the phone while the rooting process is running on your pc, while it is on "waiting for a device". enable debug mode.
than to enable live wallpapers, use this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=793823
and remember to put it into debug mode.
To remove the sounds when unblocking the phone go to settings>sounds
To change the boot logo back to 5801 >

Dear friends and DEV
I have been very surprised to observe that after 3 days 2.3.3 was not rooted
after I asked myself why this did not happen in 1-2 days as for the previous update ????
the answer is simple and comes with another question
who really needs the root directly from the stock room ?????
DEVS started having already pre-rooted the custum roms have no advantage to open the way also to amatorial people
Conclusion .... we will wait a lot of time before the direct rooting of 2.3.3.
Ptrofessional DEVS at the moment are not really interested in this because they can do their job without it and probably they like also to be more in control ....
Do you agree ??????
Yes it is probably true, if i had known this before i would install prerooted, but i just don't have no time to do the whole proces going back to eclair and than installing prerooted.... For now, i am waiting for the direct root.
I asked similar question before.
Finally I took a plunge and downgrade to 2.1 and root and install xrecovery with flashtool, and install 2.3 rooted Rome through recovery.
Here use this root app:

Then you should certainly use Wolfbreak's GB ROM
It really is very easy
Just flash his ROM first and then the .ftf bundle using flashtool
No need of going back to 2.1 eclair
This simple will never come out.
It is same as SE ARC 2.3.3 update, as soon as SE ARC 2.3.3 update release. No one can come up direct root.
Same for SE X10i 2.3.3 update.
cheers
Sorry .... may be I was not clear
I am NOT talking about 'to be able to do it' ( I did it many times since 1.6)
I am INSTEAD talking abaut 'I want to do it'........
For personal reasons I would like (if available thanks to the work of the DEV) to have the total stability of the stock room without few useless applications and with a nice theme
I m going where I cannot use computers for a while and I cannot update from bugs that with all due respect are unavoidable with custum roms
Of course not being able to perform the root by myself I do not complain, I accept the current situation and I will be in any case grateful to the DEVs
Mine was only an ANALYSIS of the current situation

I thanked you for answering
Unfortunately after 1 year of using custum roms I am fully aware of the reality ....
I have been using for long time Wolfbreaks ROMs for example after MIUI (the guy that is not anymore in this forum ... etc etc)
They are fast nice and beaufiful and I apreciate the work done but there is always a little bug that will came out soon or later ....
That is OK I am not complaining .... very quickly the DEV usually fix it
The only thing for me is that I am going abroad and I cannot use the computer for a while ... meantime I need the phone
I September I will try all the ROM and I am sure that I will enjoy their excellent performance

lets's put in this way
I would not have any problem in using the current method for rooting flashing back to 2.1
if a simple original and complete 2.3.3 rooted rom was available
But no dev has interest in creating one
BTW I am not able to download the wolf room (just for safety in the case I change my mind) ... mediafire is not working ... someone knows about a mirror ?

I really want to try flashing the kernel version but am a bit weary of the results. There might be some sensors especially pertaining to the camera and even overall performance that might get affected or may become erratic.

Most of us face the isse of random reboots after we flash a custom lollipop or marshmallow rom . There is an easy fix for it
Pre
requirements
1. A rooted phone with latest SU binary
2 An app called SE linux mode changer .
Which can be downloaded from here

After you are done downloading and installing this app, Open it
Provide it root access .. And change selinux mode from permissive to enforcing and thats it

The random reboots occur because the SElinux mod is set to permissive by default . But for smooth working kitkat onwards rom require enforcing mod
So we change it from permissive to enforcing and thats it

I'm just wondering where did you get this idea that selinux mode has to be enforcing vs permissive.
Those modes are for how permissions work in linux that is all. Here is info explaining it for linux

Buddy personally , i never fell in the techinal aspects . It is a solution which works well for me and for others as well
You are giving out a false information. You have a placebo effect. It does not seems to help anybody except you. btw reboots has nothing to do with permission.

I don't think we all could solve the random reboots problem on lollipop and marshmallow rom ourselves just like this when our devs are working day and night to solve our issues. I know you all want to help others too as well, but let the devs complete their work, they know better than us about our problems and they have been close to get rid of the random reboots now, they are working to make it better, if you really want to help, work with the devs, be their testers and provide them logs, in case you encounter random reboots.
