is it possible for a battery freindly theme ? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi all
i'm just wondering
is it possible for a dev to make a freindly abttery theme for note 3 ?
for rooted roms and maybe stock also.

no answer.
hope a developer would make it happen for us.

Battery friendly theme? You mean inverted theme? Check out the themes and apps section, i used a couple when I was on odexed stock and they worked fine...Preferably try themes by @ HS™, as I have only tried his themes...on stock.

Using his Hot Fudge on Alliance (4.3), also flawless.
Always liked monochrome themes, and HS makes great ones.

Ligux Rom

it is not my work... i found the ligux rom a while ago when someone posted a remake of it on xda , and saw a really nice theme and a really fast system .
so here is the website. WITH the todays 4.1.2 release .
in case someone is interested ... i say give it a try !
http://bbs.ligux.com/rom.htm
I will post some screenshots after I succeed in downloading it cus it takes solo damn much ...
Ps: the rom has gapps included
And here are some screenies with the nice themed ui .... too bad that the widget is only Chinese . I cant stand that at miui also..
Hmm so I'm assuming this is based off AOSP?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
Is it stable?
the last version was really stable... and this one is smooth and fast too.. havent tried any other kernel... i bet it will be faster .
And no.. apparently it is cm.

I'll wait for alen to try and comment on it. I'm sure he won't be able to resist flashing this. Really good looking UI though.

Hah... you really are waiting for the dude to test them out ))
flashed it with matrix ... and its solid. Except for the ligux weather that is only Chinese... the dialer ui is changed... the sms one too . Really enjoyable .
Ps. Oh yeah..and the apps are odexed
No option to center clock and transparent for statusbar dude?
Will try this. Can you post a screenshot or at least post a list of all the options inside "Status bar" settings? Thanks.
Oh yeah and the website is in Chinese too...and Google translate is just hilarious when I tried reading it there. Especially in the forums.
Oh and no offense meant to our Chinese friends here.

Does it look to be a CM10 based rom with a theme or a built-in theme? The UI looks sweet, but I don't want to be switching roms.
If it's a CM theme, anyone could post it?

So I checked myself, download that big zip to check for theme APK, and it's not in. So the apps are themed separately sadly.

Flashed it last night and it feels like themed stock jelly bean. Not feature rich, but stable and fast.

While this app is really good, I actually do think flashable themes are the most fun. If I could ever figure out how the heck to make themes, I would pump a bunch out. Lol. I usually get as far as decompile apk and then I say "well now what?"

Nice! That's great to hear. The only think I'd be cautious about is when the dev makes more updates to framework, which could cause some compatibility issues down the road on future versions.
No FC's so far but I will let you all know if I hit any issues since I am just now starting to mess with all the settings. So far changing up colors for battery, clock, and toggles have been working just fine.
Yeah, shouldn't have to port it. It's just: SystemUI.apk & threeminitsettings.apk.
Funny thing is framework-res.apk isn't included in an app called "3 Minute Framework". Lol

Do you have any other mods installed? For example, if you have any of the transparent or ICS status bar mods, flast the "back to stock" zip before flashing 3minit.

[req] clear themes

Hi !
I see dark/black themes for CM everywhere but I don't like it at all, I prefer clear/colored themes, like MIUI ones (it's just an exemple).
Where could I find beautiful clean and clear themes for CM 10.1 ?
Thank you for your help !

Hi, yes, I use the ROM. It's actually not buggy at all!
There are not many features yet, but it is stable and fast.
I love multi-windows but I think it could be improved with two things: 1) panel resizing, 2) both panels active at the same time.
Try it!
MultiWindows, here we come!
Would love to see a short, simple video of this ROM in action!

And until it does have both panels active at the same time, I don't find it any more useful than just stock multitasking.

Foxhound port to SM-n900A, gauging interest!

I have permission to port FoxHound from the International forums to our phone just like we did for X note.

Up to you, it's your time you're investing. It looks like if you run aosp theme on xnote they even look the same. I think maybe xnote actually has more features with xnote control. Let the people decide I suppose, but for me it wouldn't be worth the time plus watching 2 threads for basically the same rom.
I have decided not to release this rom. It is not stable on my device and if i need to concentrate efforts to make it run, i would rather put my energy towards my rom that i am building.
I do apologize for the false hope, but i refuse to put something out that does not work as expected. Anyways, thanks for everyones attention!
Brian
