Hi i rooted my s4 i9500 today. my stock rom info is

i want to download my stock rom. There are many versions of stock,,, i m not understanding which is mine.
can anyone refer me download link of my stock rom version ? can i install custom rom on my version stock rom ?

go to http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9500 and look at the 3 letter region code for your country and download the stock rom. For e.g.
Algeria --> TMC
Iran --> THR

If you have the box with u, then on the side of the box there is a sticker which has Model No- GTI950XXXXXX the last 3 alphabets will tell u which firmware to download

Sir download one of latest stock firmware regardless of region and you will be ok.

I have a i9500 which i bought from china... it has all Chinese software in it. also when it boots it shows China unicom screen followed by Samsung.
Can you tell me or direct me (a link) to the correct way of removing the Chinese firmware and loading on Indian firmware.
I have read several posts on XDA...but i have got mixed reviews.

Hi,
I want to flash BTU Rom over a branded Vodafone 4.4.2 to get rid of bloatware, i don't want to root, get the triangle or trigger Knox.
What's the latest BTU unbranded official Rom? how do I flash using odin?

First off all Wipe all. Data, System, Cache and Dalvik.

Download Odin 3.09 > http://odindownload.com/download/Odin_v3.09.zip
Connect your phone to pc and put in Download mode
Check the box AP -> Select the Rom you downloaded
click start, and wait till finish
PS: You don't Flag Knox flashing Official ROM's, you flag Flashing Custom Rom's and Custom Recovery's.

And u will flag knox if u root it.

[Q] Why my Note3 can't have Kitkat Kies or OTA ?

Hello,
I bought my Note3 in a spanish online store and i use it in France.
I'm still in 4.3 because the upgrade doesn't show up OTA or on KIES, they both say that I have the latest version.
It seems that the upgrade is available in these 2 countries, so I don't really understant why I can't upgrade ?
I have attached a screen of my "About device" section if it can helps.

It depends on your CSC.
Please use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app to check for your CSC first, and then search on the sammobile.com if there is an update for your CSC.

If not buying from Samsung authorized retailers with its original warranty, u may want to check ur system status. Whether modified or official. And u better go to download mode as well to check the knox flag status
Happened to my friend new note N9005.
Status modified, knox 0x1.
And the phone can't get OTA.

I've downloaded the application, I have still full knox warrantly ((0x0), but I have found that my phone comes from Austria.

Apparently, the kitkat update will not come soon for this country, so I will have to flash the latest french XEF rom.

Just thought I'd add, Kies 3 lost support of updating the Note 3 after the new bootloader came out on JB MJ1... Samsung have, in their infinite wisdom, NOT fixed support for this. If anything goes wrong with a flash or OTA then you are stuck using ODIN to fix... The whole "Rmergency Firmware Recovery" thing is just a load o crap....

U don't need to depend on ota or kies. Just upgrade through ODIN.
Sometimes wait for OTA will make u fèel so much envy to others who got it alrd.
And flash through ODIN is much better.

What rom to use to go back to stock?

I'm from Belgium me and my friend bought the s4 i9505(first edition) last year.
I experimented with lots of roms but whenever i try to go back to an official rom, my friend still gets updates whenever he checks for it and i never do.
So i was wondering if someone could point me to the actual rom i need.

Soo you need a stock rom here are some stock roms:
First: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9505 - A lot of people say to me this is not the official page for samsung roms but for me was so good
Second: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-I9505&pcode=0#firmware - This is the official one
I recommend you to use the latest version 4.4.2

The problem i had was there is no country 'Belgium' in the list. And i wanted to know wich rom they used for the Belgium S4 versions.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Romania... and my stock rom is for Europe and other phone the same thing again Romania phone but France or Germany stock rom

If you wanna receive OTA updates too:
1. Install Kies (for android 4.2.2) or Kies 3 (android 4.3 and android 4.4.2)
2. Conect ur device to ur computer.
3. Take a look your CSC (country code) -> They are always 3 letters. (pic 1 attached)
4. You can now close Kies/3.
5. Go to Sammobile.com and look for the correct CSC (You can live in Belgium but this no means ur phone is builded there) -> For example: My phone is german and conecting it to Kies 3 appears DBT code. I go to Sammobile.com and download the correct firmware for my device (Pic 2)
6. Remember: Don't download "Black EDITION" firmware if your phone isnt that one.
7. Flash the firmware through ODIN.
8. Enjoy

i was used before error rome (N900XXUDND1_N900SERDNC4_SER) the Russian rome from sammobile.com
i think this error Because of knox !! i was install it before days form i change room ! i think

Try to install Russian ROM again, may unknowingly your firmware updated when u r on Russian ROM?Lattest Russian ROM is NF3. Normally this happens if u try to downgrade bootloader/Modem.

Have You tried installing older version? If not try that. And If You tried it, Try installing newest version of rom. And remember to download rom that has the same location as Your country that You live in.
