LG G2 D802 Bricked - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I had TWRP recovery on this LG D802. Because download mode wasn't working i flashed a stock recovery. Since that moment i don't have:
- Recovery mode
- Download mode
- Fastboot mode
The phone is in a boot loop though. It flashes the LG logo on and off. The phone isn't being detected by the computer.
I hope someone can help me.
Kind regards.

This is not to dampen your spirit but if it is not detected by computer then it is very hard to get it back to life. But I guess it is not detecting by computer because it is not fully loading(at least some of the necessary files loading). If you aren't able to get into download mode or fastboot mode, I guess you may try the method explained in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
Hope your device get back to normal following that thread, you need Ubuntu for that method to try, but that's(installing ubuntu) not a difficult.

Thank you for your answer. Onfurtantely that is not helping because for that manual the mobile needs to be detected by the computer.

Then I suggest you to completely switch off the phone(I hope you already done that) & leave it for some time and then try it after some time. Did you use the proper stock recovery when going from TWRP to stock recovery(I mean the recovery that is intended for your phone model)?. What I think is that as long as it is seeing some sort of life(it is going as far as LG Logo), there is a hope that it can be recovered. I think some thing is messed up in recovery or boot or one of those partitions that are checked during the boot.

You need to first download the kdz and lg flash utility with drivers.
Install drivers
The factory reset deleting system, cache, internal sd.
Then shutdown your g2.
Start to downloaded mode connecting your g2
Flash kdz & voila... Done
I too bricked my phone before. My flashing stuck at 49%. Recovered using above method, all is well now
This works 1000%. I bet on it. Just remember to wipe the phone completely before flashing. You will return to stock with unrooted status in download mode. U will have your warranty back too

On which system did you try it?
Maybe try Windows,Mac and something like Ubuntu.

D802 How to unbrick?

Hi, I've got a HUGE problem.
Today I decided to root my G2 d802 (european free distribution) and flash a CM rom.
After cleaning dalvik and factory reset i tried to flash this rom but Status 7 showed up.
So, I tried to launch G2 and find a solution for it but it started to boot loop.
Okay.
Even worse, (don't ask how, but it wasn't me!) there PROBABLY was format /system,,
After that my G2 stucks on LG logo and nothing else happens. No loop no anything. I can only go into recovery while seeing white screen asking if I agree to do format. Everytime, but it never boots normally, it's always stuck.
So, what can I do?
I can't access the phone from my computer while beeing in the recovery (it appears as a device, but i cannot access it..).
I can only use recovery
LG G2 D802
CWM-based Recovery v6.0.4.4
Sorry for bad english, not my native language.
Help me, please! How can I unbrick my G2?!
So I tried to flash Stock rom, but when in download mode G2 isn't considered as plugged into a computer. LG Mobile Support Tool can't find the device... Any help?

Nevermind. It came back to boot loop, so it's not bricked.
But i've got some problems.
Mainly - i still can't access my phone through my computer.
When i try to flash Stock Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 this thread) i recive: http://i.imgur.com/ijSgtwp.png - screenshot from Device Manager when in download mode: http://i.imgur.com/kMLCW7t.png and when in recovery: http://i.imgur.com/wGU6qnz.png
So we're back into boot loop.
Any help? Please?
Can you attach an otg card reader or flash memory stick from recovery?
adb sideload helps you. or adb push
The problem is, because of a tutorial on my local Android site which tells how to unloop boot in G2 I've got TWRP now instead of CWM (it was about access to terminal something and writing a command, but it didn't do ****, but it seemed to work for few people), and it would be fine, but... now computer doesn't recognize my phone. Unidentified Devices: LG G2-D802, so I can't access sideload...

I've got OTG Cable (bought for my Nexus 7) somewhere, but none of above.
LOL NEVERMIND
Becouse I had nothing to lose i decided to try to flash CM and it worked.
CWM couldn't flash it for 5 times, TWRP did it immediatly.

Help Me Bricked LG G2

I tried to download via lg tools and flash something and failed.
when you restart the phone gave me the black screen.
I run ubuntu from the procedure
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
after trying this procedure, the phone remains fixed on the lg logo.
How can I fix ??? I pray you are in a panic ...
the computer does not recognize the phone more
:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
What phone model do you have? Sounds like you might have to boot into download mode and use the LG tool to go back to stock completely.

I have a d802
the phone is stuck on the lg logo.
As per the procedure would have to start the recovery but will not start.
Not part of the download mode.
I can get into factory reset but the pc does not recognize.
It seems to me a serious case. The guarantee how it behaves in these cases?
Dont you have recovery to flash new rom via ADB?
Try with ubuntu once again it will work out
ubuntu does not recognize the phone more.
The recovery is the original one.
Make sure the ports on the pc are set to 41. Do you have the drivers in the pc as well?

[Q] Cant go back to stock by any means

Hello everyone,
So ive been lurking on these forums for some time now looking for a solution for the mess I just created, but its been so long now that I want to ask if anyone can help me out now.
The situation is I bought a LG G2 AT&T, and then proceeded to root, recovery and everything was flawless, but I tried to install another ROM and this is went everything went to hell (Im from Mexico). It went all black and with the "Fastboot mode activated" and stuff so I went an put it on download mode and tried by all possible ways, the LG Flash Tool and the LG Flash tool 2014, both ways do not seem to bring back my phone to life.
Whenever I try to install it like this, I get this error with the D800AT FW. I get this error.
And whenever I try to install with D802 FW. I get this one as well.
When I try with the Lg Flash Tool 2014 method. I cant get it to 100%, I always get stuck on 99% And then it crashes.
I am really running out of options here, the phone is recognized by the PC, but I cant get to install a normal working stock ROM.
Any pointers, or help, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
EDIT:
Apparently, I cant post images just yet to show you the exact error. But for the first 2 errors, I get something like this.
"DOWNLOAD FAIL! Check phone or DLL" both for D800 and D802
If you have twrp as your recovery you can adb sideload a rom onto your device from your computer. Google how to sideload adb with trwp installed and follow the instructions. If your phone is recognized it should be fine.

First of all, thank you for your response.
Now, it is still recognized, but I tried to flash it with some DLL a guy provided on this one thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663369) and it didnt complete, it just froze on 94% and now I cant get to Download mode.
I saw about the adb sideload, but I cant seem to access to Recovery now. Tried to, but all I get is some kind of bootloop just showing the LG and android with the open belly and then back to LG.

So the three finger method only gets you the android with the belly up? Is your phone still recognized? I'm on Verizon but i think with other phones it's the same process. If you have no recovery you need to tot back to stock. I've only done it once but it did work. This is what i used to fix my problem when adb didn't work. Lots to read but it does work and people will answer if you have a problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190.. Good luck man.

If I try to enter Recovery I enter the stock one and just asks for a Factory Reset... I can not enter download mode now, I get fastboot mode only when I try download mode. Phone is recognized by computer when I connect it, but when I try to enter Download, it does show the device on device manager, but it sounds weird and I cant do anything.
Im really starting to lose it.

If you see hit enter for factory reset (white screen) hit yes. It will enter the recovery. Twrp in this case. If the above program doesn't work but you can get into twrp download a full stock att rom... [ SOLVED ] [ Q ] LG L7 - Bricked device, how to backup photos ? [ SOLVED ]

Hi,
wednesday, while I took photos, my p700 running CM10.2 by cr3pt suddenly rebooted, and started a bootloop. I tried to enter into the recovery, but all I got was a black screen. I plugged it into my PC, but couldn't use ADB since USB debugging was not enabled. I plugged it into my PC, force my device to go in Emergency Mode, with the yellow screen showing " emergency mode ", and used LGMobile Support Tool to flash the stock firmware. After the process, it rebooted, but got stuck on the Vodafone Logo until it ran out of battery. I tried to force an hard reset, but it got me to a screen showing : " Recovery Mode : Using this mode, service center can back up and recover your data. Press and hold the POWER button more than 8 seconds to reboot and continue using this phone. "
Then, I used the LG PC Suite to flash again a firmware, hoping this would help, but as with the LGMobile Support Tool, I get stucked with the Vodafone Logo.
I'd like to back up my photos on my PC, even if it doesn't unbrick my phone, but any solutions for unbricking would be obviously amazing !
Any solutions ?
Adrien

EDIT : I managed to flash a stock rooted firmware with a custom recovery, v20a if I'm right with KDZ. Then, I managed to go into CWM, formatted data, system, and cache, and I restored a previous backup. I recovered my pictures with DiskDigger !

Yeah, I thought so, but according to some forums, flashing those stock firmwares only wipe data, system, dalvik and cache so my photos may still be there...
And I just tried with KDZ Updater, same effect, can't manage to get it booting successfully...

Bricked LG g2 d800 think soo

Hi guys,
I have LG G2 d800. try to restore back to jelly bean, and rooted the phone. meanwhile took the KK update and the problem starts from there. I read the forums about not taking the update once rooted. But I was too late for that. I read most the forums to fix but haven't found my problem fix.
here is the problem lies
I am on Cyanogen recovery on the screen. wipe out everything from the phone. even the cache partition.
My computer don't read the phone. adb is not working. tried to see the list of device on adb but shows unauthorized device.
only thing work sideload on adb. tried to install twrp recovery zip file or rom zip file. stuck on 47% . then it shows error.
I see there is a fix through twrp recovery. but my adb is not working. tried different drivers but wont give me dice.
any help on this highly appreciated. or you can guide me for that.
thanks in advance.
Here's what I did:
I grabbed SRKTool and nuked my download mode. Then when attempting to enter download mode I was instead kicked into fastboot. From there I flashed stock partition images, rebooted into download mode, and then was able to flash a stock kdz/tot with the LG software.
All data lost, but phone was unbricked. All of this software was run inside a virtual machine on a Linux or OSX box as well.

I believe in SRK Tool you can nuke download mode two ways. One of which is while in download mode itself. Try entering download mode and selecting the proper option. Sometimes an unplug/replug is needed to get the phone recognized.
I did try. My phone is on Cyanogen screen. Try to plug and unplug but nothing happens. Tried SDK tool and tried to side load cm12 Rom but gets error after 47%. Don't know what to do.
In SRK tool after choosing options it stays on waiting for device. Nothing happen
s after that. Even plug n unplug.
Reboot into download mode. I believe you can also do it via adb with SRK Tool, but that is not what I did. There are two ways to build your download mode with SRK Tool. One of them is used when you are connected via download mode. That is the path I took.

My problem is, Phone is not talking with computer. I have started adb server and type adb devices and it came up with 09oikjn76568 unauthorized.
I believe my phone is not talking adb commands via computer. I have read here in some forum, your phone has to be on debugging. but in that case I my phone doesn't go beyond CYANOGEN RECOVERY.
Thanks for reply. If you have any other suggestion please let me know.
If you reboot into download mode you will bypass the debugging need.

Kind of noob question. How you go in download mode. This is what I did to get in download mode. Turn off the phone and by holding power up button and same time pluging USB connected to computer. I booted into cyanogen recovery screen.
Am I doing right?
If not please let me know. Thanks for reply.

Make sure the phone is off. Then, while holding the Volume-Up button, plug your phone into the usb cable.
That's exactly what I did but it boots back to cyanogen recovery.

Do you mean TWRP recovery? Make sure you are not pressing the power button when you are hold the up volume button ....... It should go immediately to download mode when you connect it via usb if your download mode isnt nuked ........ then u can flash back to stock using TOT method.
