How to use NFC on Xperia SP ? - Xperia SP General

Hi guys,
Just want to know if any of you experiencing difficulties with sending or receiving data using NFC on Xperia SP.
I test mine with Blackberry Z10 and Nexus 7. Here's what happen.
Xsp to nexus works but nexus has to receive bluetooth transfer and pair with xsp. Xsp can't receive from any.
Z10 and nexus works ok both direction
Is there some kind of secret setting need to be applied? I'm currently on stock 4.3 CE. I have tried this on CE nd AU version 4.3 and both doing the same thing.
Cheers

Not really had this problem the only prob I have faced is that I need to send file/data twice. First send always fail's.
This only happens when receiving sending no prob.

Just downgraded to Android 4.1.2 ce version (before giving the phone away) and still having the same problem.

Anyone have a 4.1.2 image?

Loving the n4 however having issues with 4.2
Wife has a nexus 7 which had 0 issues with WiFi and Bluetooth before the update and now has issues with both. My nexus 4 is having the very same issues as well now.
I wish I made a nandroid when I first got the phone but of course I was too eager right away and updated. I searched for 4.1.2 but have had no luck.
Anyone else know?

i think it came with a prerelease software of 4.2... i don't think we ever had 4.1.2.. not sure didn't check before ota..
You had no luck because the device never had 4.1.2 to begin with.

Well I'll be. That would explain it lol.

Sms's Dissapearing

Hey S4 users,
Over the last week i have had many friends tell me they have not received my sms messages. My phone isn't rooted and is stock from my provider. I am interested if anyone else is having this issue?
Cheers
A reboot could help. Or flash a stock ROM. Just a thought

[Q] Receiving calls does not work with CM10.2

Hello,
I have a Defy (red lense) (mb525) and installed Quarx CM10.2.
The Problem is that, if someone wants to phone me, I can only see that I've got a "Missed Call" and the one who wants to call me hears "The Numberyou've called is busy".
Can you help me, please? I could'nt find that problem somewhere else and I don't know what I did wrong. I made a factory-reset, flashed with CM10.2 from Quarx and gapps for CM10.2, wiped again. Everything works like perfectly but the fact that I receive no calls.
Have you tried a new baseband?
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, I tried every baseband for europe, but it was the same or I had no signal at all.!!!!

Some operator blacklist? Can't think of any other reason
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk 2
I had this idea, too. But
I found only the blacklist in the phone app's settings. It doesn't work although it's deactivated. Is there a blacklist-option somewhere else?

One blacklist is implemented at software(device) level. Other one could be at operator level. You can verify this by using the SIM in another phone

With the original Android I receive the calls. So it's a problem with the software(configuration) on my phone, i think, and nothing with my provider.
Making calls from my phone with CM10.2 works, only the calls I receive are not displayed, only logged as a missed call.

Probably one of the weirdest problems ever seen here. Try copying baseband files from stock. Also a system wipe.

I think I solved the Problem. I made a New install from the very beginning but finally installed only a minimal version of gapps. Now everything works fine. So it was a Problem with gapps i think.
Thanks for your help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, but I need an unlocked boot loader. I may as well be rooted if I want to do that. Any non rooted, non unlocked boot loader options?

Both my colleague at work and I have a Nexus 4 and own Peugeot cars with bluetooth connect stereos. We both get the same problem on a periodic basis. For both of us, it has only started since installing KitKat version of Android (v.4.4 and more recently v4.4.2). Neither os us had this problem with 4.3. My phone is unlocked, rooted and running a custom recovery (albeit with a stock factory image rom). My colleagues phone is totally stock (as per yours).
I have read somewhere that it *might* fix the issue by installing a pre-KitKat kernel and radio, however this needs you to be unlocked/routed/etc.
I think your only solution will be o wait until Google eventually patches the problem. I mightgo and report this issue on Googles bug tracker. The more people that do, the higher priority the issue becomes.
