Could someone port HTC Sense 5 dialer and contacts?
I hate that in touchwiz i couldn`t swipe from dialer tot contacts or to logs...

Try ExDialer, it's great
pretty cool... if i could swipe directly from dialpad it will be perfect

Disable Sense, and get ThumbCal
Say I wanted to pull a lock screen from a rom and add it to another. Can it be done?
I want to get rid of the sense lock screen and use a cyanogen type.

-delete the "htclockscreen.apk", you will have the froyo lockscreen.
Is it un system apps? Thanks for the fast reply.

Edit. Got it. Perfect. Thanks.
Read into replacing the Sense alarm clock too, as I believe it can only be snoozed/dismissed through controls in the htclockscreen. Could be a little problematic in the morning.
Now if only it was that easy to change the Sense answer/reject slider for the stock one...

How do I replace the alarm clock? I never thought about that.
Edit: Found it. Not as good of a fix though. FC on the new clock. Guess it's back to sense lock screen for me. Anybody have the apks for it?

pull camera from another build?
Hi, I have a similar question. I have a build that the camera's zoom doesn't work and the LED cannot be turned off/on during recording. On another build the camera works perfectly. Perhaps I can exchange the files on the two build?

+1 I hate the Sense answer/reject slider. Everytime I take my phone out of my pocket, I reject the the call unintended....
Plaese post your best dialer and phone with link and photo in the way that is possible to avaulate and decide what we would be installed in our phone.

best dialer I've used. The Sammy's one is just crap.
I get a constant complaint from friends new to Android and the SGS II: "I tap the phone icon, but I don't get the dialpad - where is it??"
I guess it's not so intuitive to just scroll the pane at upper part of the screen...
The ICS (CM9 one) is better, but Dialer One is still the one I choose.
Dialer One does not work for me. Although I like the interface better, it takes to long to start. Maybe it is because I have to many contacts in my phone.
I have a stock rom installed (2.3.6)
Anyone else experienced this problem ? I am now back to the stock dialer.

It has some options that I missed from the Stock dialer such as vibrate on when someone picks up the phone on the other side and Speed dial.
exDialer works very well for me. I used custom one and go contacts too but this is way better.

I have them and I only have the stock dialer.
Settings->Call->Call Alert->Outgoing call vibration
I don't know if those settings only affect the stock dialer or if they are system settings and affect all dialers - I think the latter.
Speed dial:
Dialer->Menu button->Speed dial setting
exDialer takes too long to load call logs and contacts. Went back to stock dialer, fast and functional.
touchwiz rom and slide to call or send messsage is the best
Stock dialler with ICS theme. Maintains functionality of stock but adds the sexiness of ICS
Prefer stock due to left/right swype on contact and SNS integration only for FB to sync contact pics. And has T9 compared to stock CM7 dialler.
Stock dialer for sure (on ICS ). go+ keyboard is a must.

I'm on alliance rom and it is amazing. Only thing I don't like is the stock dialer and the super bright stock messaging. Anyone have suggestions on where I can get black themed or inverted versions of both? Thanks!

Don't know about Messaging, but Ex Dialer (from the Play Store) has a black theme and doesn't require CWM. Works great.

Disabling stock phone app, and installing any third party dialer shall work.
But In call UI can not be changed easily.

call ui ,now i use true phone , but i need call app build record call , not use third app.
