new OTA update ICS India ROM

Just now I got OTA (109 MB) update. Can anybody tell what exact update is that. I am downloading.
Latest update: OTA update failed on rooted stock ICS (4.03) ROM.

yeah i too have got the update but it also failed because i have got a rooted ics lpa rom so i downloaded the whole rom from samfirmware.com and flashed it using odin from my pc.. it is the 4.0.4 version of indian lr6 ics for galaxy note

Finally got the OTA 4.0.4 upgrade.
Kies still sucks !!!!

I got the ota update for two times but both of them failed when it was installing. What should I do? My phone is not root.

why don't you download the latest rom from www.samfirmware.com

I didn't get the update. Weird as I am on stock, unrooted ICS 4.0.3 firmware.

Any notable difference after the upgrade ??

Does having the custom SpeedMod K3-11 kernel on my rooted note disable me to recieve the OTA update?
My friend was unrooted on stock and he recieved the update but I haven't yet! :/

Hi! I have updated my stock unrooted note 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 by OTA on 06.08.2012 afternoon. If you didn't get the OTA update (if you are not always connected to Wifi signal), kindly uncheck the Wi-Fi only option in Settings---About Phone----Software Update. This may help to get the software update notification.

thanks all people.i try kies but it is so slow.and hotfile is slow for me.but now i am downloading from samsung-updates.com and the speed is good

So what's the difference between the new OTA update and the older versions. Any new stuff or just bug fixes.

Pop-up play and signature lock - new features .. Keyboard looks different and restart button is in green colour now .

Success at last. ..after 4 attempts 4.04. .looks good. .lock screen looks thinner sharper. .keypad also thinner smaller sharper in a nice way. .

For N8013 with German 4.1.1 wanting to downgrade

I had my N8013 using the German 4.1.1
Obviously, I wanted the US 4.1.2 update from today.
I spent hours with a $500 paper weight... hopefully this will help someone.
1. Download the Prerooted UEALH2 Firmware Package HERE
I know this includes everything [kernel], but my Note wouldn't boot up at all.
2. Gran the UEALH2 stock kernel HERE
Both PDA.
It worked for me... you can try it out, but don't blame me if something goes wrong.

Cause he wants root and SuperSU preserves it when upgrading in some cases?

On a N8013 I hit update and it says "Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they requested it. Try again later"
Does all that = BUSY?

It has many new features like S Finder, Pen Windows, New Multi Window and more.

I think most of the features will come to the S4 with the 4.3 update.. Pen Windows are useless without the S Pen in my opinion.. So wait a bit and we will see what will be integrated from the Note3

Now i have FoxHound 2.0 installed on my S4 with 4.2 android. How can i update to 4.3 when it cams to s4 without Samsung Kies support?

You could update via Odin or mobile Odin. Both are good

OTA is available in India indeed. Just wait a couple of hours. I'm sure you'll be able to get your update UNLESS your device is not from India.

Anyone got any news about ANY developments in the Exynos Note 3 forums.... any cm or aosp ?.... at this point I'm desperate. I'm ready to attempt to flash a rom from another variant just to see if it would work. I love the phone but the support isn't there like I thought :what: :thumbdown:
