packaging nogapps with omni - Omni Q&A

I know that CustomROMs can't package the original google apps but how about an opensource replica ?
I just found out about this lovely project http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715375
I am looking forward to see that grow .
Would omni be able to ship these by default without problems?

I think i found cyanogenmod NFC sources

So my friend found this in gitHub https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/0fcf56ec94297cbb1763ea6d2027bdaa1c3b5e10
Can anyone tell me if these are the right sources? Can any dev include them in his future rom?

CyanogenOS 13 maybe tracks its users via Trebuchet

Hey everyone,
I check regularly the commits to the Oneplus One Cyanogenmod repository via cmxlog.com.
Today I found this interesting revert: https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/142559. This is the original commit, one day earlier: https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/141623
The cyanogenmod sources contain some tracking metric for Trebuchet. The default launcher. The tracking code relies on the "com.cyngn.stats" - App. AFAIK it doesn't exist in cyanogenmod. I tried to check the OTA Package for CyanogenOS 13 for the Oneplus One (ref). But I couldn't extract it. So I checked the CyanogenOS 12 Package for the Oneplus One (ref). It doesn't contain the App "com.cyngn.stats", but a reference to it: "/system/etc/permissions/com.cyngn.stats.xml". Maybe someone who installed the CyanogenOS 13 OTA can check if "com.cyngn.stats" is installed? I use CyanogenMod 13 on my Oneplus One, not the official Cyanogen OS.
So, I conclude, maybe all Cyanogen OS 13 are being tracked by Cyanogen Inc via the default Trebuchet launcher. (If the app com.cyngn.stats is installed). The reverted code even contained the analytics key (com.cyanogen.ambient.analytics.key).
I also think that that this tracking isn't related to the anonymous statistics found in CyanogenMod (which you can disable). But I don't know what "com.cyngn.stats" does, if it is installed - or if it has an reference to the anonymous statistics option.
Please look at the source and tell me your opinion. Maybe I overreact. Or I miss something.

Cyanogen spying on us?
I think for tracking bugs?

DeAPK - Open-source, Cloud Hosted Android APK Decompiler

Greetings to all of you!
Here to let the community know I just finished my newest project i.e., a cloud-hosted APK decompiler for Android apps. I know we have a couple out there, but this is special as it's the only one that is open-source. I mean you can know wtf happening under the hood before uploading your private Android apps for decompilation. Plus, it's responsive so you can use it even on your phone.

Android 11

Will the developers port Android 11 (AOSP) to the Galaxy A205G?: D: D
Well, they did already. Just go to this page and pick this file
system-roar-arm64-ab-vanilla.img.xz
That should fit in your system partition.
At the moment only GSI's are available - They aren't stable. Someone mentioned that they are building the device tree for the A20 (not sure how true this is) - from there they will start making custom AOSP ROM's for the device.
