I recently bought a LG G2 and have rooted, installed TWRP and a custom Rom on it. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590700)
I love the speed of this ROM, but I miss the phone layout of the original rom.
Can i extract the phone.apk from the original lg g2 layout and put it on this rom?
Thanks in advance guys.
Also, I can't get the newest paranoid rom to work on my phone. I have the D803 variant from Bell, Canada

Hey guys,
a friend of mine owns an LG Optimus L7-2 P710 and it has a provider branded firmware on it. Now we are looking for a tutorial on how to debrand the phone. We've looked into various forums in order to find a way to flash a clean firmware to it or install any CyanogenMod build, but neither did we find a clean stock rom, nor a CM build.
All the tutorials that we found were not about our Optimus L7-2 P710. Do you know a way to install CyanogenMod or at least debrand it?
Thanks and regards, DerGraf1997
I have a rooted D802 international with TWRP custom recovery. Today the phone offered mi to upgrade to 20b, I guess it is finally a 4.4.2 ROM. But because of TWRP I know I can't upgrade with OTA. And also there is no support for a custom recover in a LG2 4.4.2 ROM kernel. So my question is and I guess it is also a request: do I have to wait for someone to release a patched stock 4.4.2 ROM for my phone? Or is there any way to do it by myself? I wouldn't like to use CM or similar, I like LG stock ROM. I hope someone is already working on it.
PS: Could someone please edit a caption of the thread to "[Q][REQUEST] Got an offer from my phone for a 4.4.2 upgrade". I forgot to finish it.
I think I found an answer to my question, but have another one. I found this two KitKat ROMs:
Stock KitKat
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2661866
LG G Pro 2 ported ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2680745
What is the difference between them?
Hello everyone i recently purchased a LG G2, and then rooted it and flashed the CM 11 rom. After some time of using it, i heard about the cloudy rom and would like to flash it but when i went to the forum i didn't understand how to flash the KK baseband or what that even means? When i opened the thread with all the basebands i didn't know which one to choose, there were multiple basebands with the words d802.So i wondering if anyone might guide me through the process to safely flash the cloudyflex 2.4 rom. I'm using the d802(International) G2. Sorry if the question is noobish.

You'll only need the base band if your coming from a jellybean ROM. Since your not you won't need it. Just follow the instructions in the thread.
Coming from a Nexus 5 where there's no Carriers versions, And i'm currently having the stock 4.4.2 rooted on LG G2 (Sprint version).
If i want to install the CloudyG3 (/or any custom Rom) and than i want to go all stock everything, how can i do it? Theres a tutorial for that? How do i install the TWRP custom recovery?
Also, how can i add the brightness slider to the notification menu? thanks guys
Hello there, i do have an d806 and i come from a Samsung phone. I've sucesfully rooted and installed TWRP already but i'm not sure of how should i proceed to install a new rom. There are some concepts that i don't understand like the kdz files and the baseband and bootloader. The ones from d802 will work on d806? It's mandatory to flash baseband and bootloader on each rom change? I'm looking for an rom with the stock ui and all the native features, on samsung aosp i used to lose some features (like camera quality) does it happen the same with lg?
Thanks in advance guys
