Unfortunately...
I dont think your gonna get much of a response at the moment as a) the whole panel development has been exceptionaly quiet since the product was released and b) sony's own panel development competition is still ongoing and so IF there is anyone out there who has gone into development of panels i am 99.99% sure they will be focussed on this as a way to showcase their abilities rather than taking on private projects

if so i totally agree this needs to be revamped and would love to be kept informed of any development for idea sharing, testing etc... im no techy but id be happy to help...

@afreeb, Yes, that is the one I want to work on. I've got some of the layouts worked out and I have a detailed list of features I want added. Now all I need is a programmer. Feel free to PM me your ideas and features you'd want. And let's hope I find someone

Firstly I'd like to say hello. Hello. I'm new here as you can tell. I'm getting my X1 this Saturday (if all goes well) and have been looking around for applications/panels and information on how to tweak/enchance and improve my X1.
As an electronic engineering student, I love to tinker with PCs. My desktop at home runs Windows 7, and I'm looking for help, tips and advice on how to enchance my X1 experience.
Basically, if anyone can recomend any applications/tips on how to tweak and speed up the X1 and make it better than I hear it already is.

I've also recently begun building apps. I know my way around the source code, and the Java and xml inside the apk's, so I know I could be of some help with the theming at the very least.

I just buy my tablet by Amazon and I'm waiting to receive it.
I have some doubts that maybe you could answer me.
My intention is use the tablet to play, I read there were a lot of people with problem connecting a Xbox game-pad. Anyone has information about that?
About a cover case, I was thinking to buy one with a keyboard, in case I want to do something productive (basically use Team Viewer or answers e-mails), Anyone could recommend me one?
