My first question is are there no custom kernels for the G2? I've looked in the t mobile section and in original android development and the regular section also no kernels. Also I want to try asop but doesn't it make the camera worse? Thanks for any advice.

There are a few kernels : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566081
You can install asop and then a modded camera and then the camera will be better than in stock firmware

Hi guys, i want change ROM on my N4 but I'm very undecided on which rom choose: CyanogenMOD, Paranoid or AOKP.
In your opinion what are the pros of the different rom to decide which one to use?
Read each ROMs respective thread and try them out for yourself, that's the only way you'll find the ROM that's right for you

And the best kernel? It better custom ROM's kernel o franco kernel?
There's no best, every device handles them differently. The mods are gonna close this thread

Please post question in the Q&A forum. Also, "best" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed. Read/search and take the incredibly simple route and try them for yourself.

I'm new to android. Just got a S4 l337 few weeks ago. I've my phone rooted, CWM loki'd. I'm now not sure which ROM I should be installing. I want clean, smooth and stable ROM. Pls suggest me one. I'm using T-mobile BTW. Thanks a lot
Touchwiz roms are located in the Android Development section and aosp roms can be found in the original development section. Read upand try out a few (assuming you've already made a backup).
These "which rom is best?" threads are usually shut down quickly. It's best to just form your own opinion on which rom works best for you.
Cheers

No one can answer that for you. You'd have to try out both to see how they fit to your liking.
Carbon or LiquidSmooth all the way!

Any suggestions to the best combination of rom and kernel?
My signature and default samsung kernel
Nice
I've always wanted to try that one, but im stuck with Foxhound 1.2 because of the theme, i really like the dark theme, makes it look more premium
I'll be waiting for D3NnNy to upload the theme only so that I can try other ROMs.
Latest Echoe rom and Lean Kernel for me

LG stock Rom is complete beast.
I had Sony Xperia Arc and the device got slower and slower for each official update. Marketing strategy.

currently my opinion is du and mahdi. Houston, omnirom and mokee. Their all in development but are pretty stable and fun to test. The first four have stocklike batterylife. Which is really good. And great performance.
I recommend to try them on for size, at own risk.
granted stock is awesome also

What is a good stock based rom with tweaks like debloated and stuff? I want to be able to tether unlimited like I can on my wife's note 2.

Something almost everyone can agree is that stock is the best on term of stability. Rest of stuff that people tell you why stock is the best is just their opinions.

"What is the best ROM" "Which ROM do you use the most" etc are bad thread topics and will result in this thread being locked, Ask a moderator if you don't believe me.
Mahdi rom is the best for me, give it a try
As you can see, everyone has their own opinion of "Best" and this is why these threads are closed and not allowed
Only YOU can decide what is BEST for YOU by backing up and trying a few.
Hi guys newbie here, why should I install a custom rom such as cyanogenmod on my phone?
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Free mobile app
Simply because stock roms contain lots of bloatware and that would hinder the performance of gs5. And custom roms like cyanogenmod give you a bloatless rom and pure experience of android. Also, there are lots of customization we can have on it.

Can you suggest a thread to see them? My search shows a bunch of non-S5 garbage.

Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM / Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself. That is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,
and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
