I have came across several cross carrier roms and one in particular was not working but I liked the boot animations both in the beginning and end plus the wallpapers for that ROM (TMobile). How can I pull the boot animations and wallpaper and apply it to a working Sprint ROM instead ? Thanks

Typically their a zip and jpeg files respectively. I would look through the system folder. Their likely in there. The Sprint rom requires a modified xml I believe to run custom animation. I haven't dove into it yet. Just what I've gathered from the custom rom builds.

Hello there everyone my name is Jon Wesley Tranchida, (Tran-chee-da) is how my last name sounds. I created this thread so that everyone can enjoy the boot animations that I have created, resized, and shared altogether so that they fit, work and look great on our Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 inch devices. All of these boot animations are made to work on 600 x 1024 resolution screens. Developers if you see that a boot animation is yours, don't worry you are given 100% full respect and credit. I am not selling your work or getting any money from it. All I am doing right now is resizing the boot animations that I find from all over XDA and the internet so they can work on our 7 inch tablets. If I find any that already work on our tablet without me resizing I share them also! I am also creating some of my own boot animations too. There will be a ton more boot animations in the future as well and I have a big bucket list to do so I need to have some time to get them created. So if you have any requests feel free to give me your boot animation requests. This thread is going to be a very simple thread by the way! These all are boot animation zips, they are not Samsung Touchwiz QMG files just so you all know! If you like any of these boot animations or want to be nice in anyway it doesn't hurt to hit the thanks button!
How to enable boot animation zip support and compatibility on your ROM:
My boot animations require your ROM to have boot animation zip support, which means that you will need to either be running a custom rom like Nolekat or TranchidaKat or you will need to flash this file that's down below if you still have the Stock Samsung Boot Animation or if you are running a totally stock firmware/ROM. If you are still running the stock Samsung boot animation you can flash this file in your custom recovery below to enable boot animation zip support on the Kitkat 4.4.2 firmware. You may then proceed to flash my boot animations! Enjoy!

What a great idea. Very nice job Jon, saved me from having to resize my boot animations and they work great on the Tab 3. I love animations, the more complex the more I love them. Thanks so much for posting these.:good:

Hey everyone! I have converted the LCARS Star Trek bootanimation.zip into qmg format so you can use this on samsung devices. I ported it to my Tab S 10.5. I later saw that other tabs works well too.So I wanted to share it as its an awesome boot animation!
It has an Shutdown and bootup animation.

MATERIAL THEMED BOOTLOADERS
These are material-styled bootloaders I've created using photoshop and the excellent bootlogo tool from @bitdomo
I've created lots of them and improved as I got some time.
The first editions (v1) are named as material_(color)(icon color)
The second ones (v2) are named as material_(color)v2
Changes: Top icon changed to settings icon
The third ones (card style) are named as card_style and each color folder have two bootlogo options: black background (black) and inverted (light)
The fourth ones (card style) are named as cardv2 and each color folder have two bootlogo options: black background (black) and inverted (light)
Changes: Added text "choose an option"
To do: You suggest me and I'll update when I want to and have some free time

Nice work bro, beautiful , installed here and it worked just fine !
having custom logo like Oneplus logo or Apple logo would be a great idea?
installed the black white and love it already
Love it Especially the card style. Also, the lockring (on bootlogo) themed to material is just perfect.
This is so dope man

You have to flash the stock bootloader.img of your current android version manualy. Thats all!
You simply need the file and you can re-flash it with this command
fastboot flash bootloader filenameofthebootloader.img
Does this work with all phones....or only nexus 5 ?.

I wouldn´t flash the bootloader from the nexus 5 phone to an other one!
Awesome work!! Can you make a dark card style one with the color code 2c76ff and 292828 for the dark part?
Edit: Figured it out myself, but I can't figure out how to change the color of the full bootlogo like you have there. Just the google logo and lock.

this kind of thing is at bitdomo's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/tool-change-boot-logo-images-t2763698
Btw, the black and white was the only one built with Gimp image editor (ubuntu).

If this will overwrite my bootloader, what's the version of your theme bootloaders?
Thanks!
They are compatible with Android M?

As far as I know the bootloader is the same since KK. I'm using it with Android M.
To restore just use fastboot to flash stock img or flash the stock zip at bitdomo's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/tool-change-boot-logo-images-t2763698
Isn't the last one hhz12f which comes with 5.1.1?
This is really good man, I just hope you can make more with custom images. Anyway thanks!

No, it has different imgdata partition.
IIRC there's also an imgdata tool for shamu, you can make your own material bootloader with it.
Also are there any Material themes for this device?

Try this! This is just a marshmallow theme, not an actual 6.0 ROM. And for the boot animation, the boot animation files are located in system/media (qmg format). You can find custom qmg bootanimations somewhere.
i know it's so late , but i search for this if u find a way
I wanted a more complete Pixel boot on my Nexus 5, so I modified the bootlogo to display the first frame of the Pixel boot animation for that smooth boot transition.
I created logos with and without the lock (Updated the lock to the Nexus 5x lock)
Tested on bootloader HHZ20h
How to install:
1. Copy zip to storage
2. Flash via recovery
3. Reboot and enjoy
Special thanks to bitdomo for his imgdata tool.
Excellent work!
Could you do also black version please?

I actually realized after this post that someone has already done it. Oh well, learned something new.
User edwaine had compiled a list of pixel customizations for our phones already.
Just scroll down and find the black boot animation and the black material boot logo.
Cheers!
Just asking, does the logo.bin work on any phone?
EDIT: Wrong thread. Sorry!

+1!
The good old N5 is finally croaked and I've moved on to a 5X. After searching a bit I can only conclude they aren't as interested in matching Pixel bootlogos with bootanimations as N5 users are
Hi, I'm wondering if I can install and flash Pixel Bootanimation on a Marshmallow Rom 6.0.1? @XDleader555

Which animation are you referring to?
Transitions between windows and applications?
Resurrection Remix has a tonne of these animations to choose from including list view animations.

Yea he hasn't done it yet, not sure if he will or not.
I'm guessing you're using fusion because the OOS camera is pretty much perfect and on other non OOS ROMs it's not.
Besides changing ROM or the Dev implementing the animations, there isn't a lot you can do. .
If you install xposed you can try some modules from there, must be some still going which enables you to change the transitions from screen to screen.
I've avoided xposed on nougat so it'd be at your own risk.

I guess you can try this idk if it would work ....would suggest make a backup and flash although the XDA post says it automatically creates a stock animation backup just make one more just in case
