Hi guys, I just updated the rom to S4 4.42 google and am totally mystified by how to get Titatnium backup pro to save to External SD...
Is there a way? For some reason I can't browse to it from the Titanium menu....
I'm sorry if this is a lame question.
I'm moving over to the darkside (android) and am finding stuff like this rather confusing!
Thanks in advance.
Theres 2 threads in S4 General about how to solve this.

Try to save at least one backup on internal sd and then move the folder to external sd. Then in option try to search on internal device.

Thx Baumbriu,
I'll try that...
When you say "move the folder":
-is it the entire titanium backup folder ?
-Is it as simple as using something like ES File explorer to "move it" to the /extsdcard ?
Thanks!
Find the folder where contains the zip files of the backup and move it only this folder to external with a file explorer

Hi there,
How do I move games to sd card? Tried to Need for speed which is over 1GB inn size. But when I pressed move to sd card, only few mb were moved. Can someone explain to me, how to do it properly.
Edit: it is not only Need for speed who do not want to move, but other games too.

That's because it only moves the app itself to the external sd card, not the data of the game.
For moving those files I'd recommend using foldermount. It does require root tho.
If you are already rooted however, you can find it at the playstore.

But how do I know where the data of the is located?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
Most of the times it's either located at /storage/sdcard0/android/obb or at /storage/sdcard0/android/data.
You can use any file Explorer to look where the files are located.

This app called 'My Device Storage Analyzer' helps nicely in finding where big files and data directories are hidden :good:
Hi,
i have recently bought a new S4 and updated it to the latest version where we can move app to sd card. But when i move the apps it still shows the same memory available on my internal memory i.e. it doesn't move the apps to SD card and keeps it in the internal memory of the device whereas in App manager it shows that it is installed in the SD card.
Kindly help me with any solution.
Please have a look at the screenshots attached so will also get a clear idea about it.
Can anybody give some solution...

hello, i think you cant do that with all apps but, some aplications can be moved. only have to look in settings / more / app manager. click on an app and check if can be moved.

Without additional tools you can move the application on sd, but not application data. In some programs, especially games, app data are realy huge.
As you instructed, you can use folder mount to move app data.
But, you must have root.

oh . yeap. ur right. I noticed now!
I just need help with this 2 question:
1. What I do to control custom kernel is faux app for audio and display, trikster mod for slide2wake, setcpu to set governor, speed etc...is there a easy way to control every aspect that I describe without many apps?.
2. I need easy way to backup my apps for restore before flashing new rom, I would prefer a way that make a flashable zip.
Thanks

Hi. I have Galaxy S4 I9505 on stock 4.3, not root-ed.
As you all know on 16Gb version, only 9Gb is free.
I like to play big games on my phone but I dont have enough free space.
I would like to know is there any app similar to "Auto_Patch_APK_for_Samsung_by_Duero__include_Java_" (I cant put link sry.) which works on S4?
Thanks!
Not possible without root I'm afraid. If you do decide to root, there is an app called FolderMount which allows you to move game data to the External SD Card.

You could try Link2sd. Needed a two-partitioned sd card and root.

You don't need root , just move the obb or data files manually
Path :
andrion/obb/
or
android/data/
Enjoy your games

Try AntTek explorer think it allows you to move obb files.

When you done with the game move the data or obb to external sd card , when you want to play the same game again move it back to its original location
I use fx explorer
You may have second option ,go to settings , more , applications manager .... and check the move to sd , but incase of games you may lose some performance due to sd slow write/read

Not too functional... The main idea is to free internal memory so that it get used by other apps or data. If you have, for example, a game with 1GB, you need to have free at last 1GB internal memory when you are bored and want to play so that you can move back the data... At this point, it wouldn't have no sense to have that 1GB free... You usually should delete occupied memory by apps or other data to play that game... With apps like link2sd allow you to maintain that data at external sd when playing and "tell" the app where in the external sd can find the data.

Regardless of 1 or 2 gigabytes games , I have around 300 apps istalled from play store and other sources and I still have 5 giga free space in my internal , where the obb saved in my external is above 15 giga
