Hi all,
Can I connect my pendrives and hdd to my GT-P1000 device using usn connection kit or so?
I have read that to connect external drive to our tab. We require tab to avt as host device instead of slave. How can I do that any idea?

by default i don't think you can do it. You will need custom kernel. Check the development thread for custom kernel. I use hyperdroid ROM with its custom kernel. Enter is a link to the kernel on its thread. Maybe that can help.
Otherwise check the cyanogen ics ROM. They may have something up their sleeve.

Easiest way to use USB OTG on my XJLo?
Sent from my ST26i using xda app-developers app
If you can find "Mount USB storage" in the storage menu, then you can use it easily with the OTG cable, but if you cant find it,then you must integrate OTG drivers in the kernel to use it.
Nope i cant find it! So Is there any available kernel that can be used on sxj?

usb otg bus drivers
Hello,i'd like to ask if there is any way to use the usb bus drivers of S3 to my S3neo
I have rooted the phone and i would like to ask if it is possible to force the phone to provide power to the otg cable.I know that it might be a hardware thing ,but without even rooting the phone, the otg drivers where installed.
So maybe it is possible.I already know for the Y cable i have made one but it is not handy on the road!thanks in advanve
dude I just bought the device
1- its an amazing device and I love it
2- it supports otg "u can make sure using otg checker apk"
3- it doesnt read otg due to kernel stuff and I have been searching for kernels all day long but nothing so far
4-your choice is really good and its no big deal if it doesnt read otg cable
It should work with y type cable

Nice
Look what this guy has done http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GQkBr78kF2k
Do u think that he found a solution for that problem that s3 neo can't use normal otg?

yes, it does support OTG. You have to connect the usb with an OTG Y cable.
As simple as that
Case closed:
As a new user I can't post outside links, so search you tube for video called "OTG galaxy s3 neo", and that is that. Cheers
Hello everyone ,
I tried to connect my otg to my phone so then i can use it like an external memory but it doesn't work. I changed my kernel two times , i changed the ROM still no result
I'm under resurection 5.5.0 android 5.1.1
Help please ? ?
Neus 4 doesn't support regular OTG. You need a OTG-Y cable for external power supply.
