Hi everyone. I think a lot of users use snapchat on the LG G2. The camera quality in snapchat is very very bad its horrable. However, in the galaxy s4 or nexus 5 is much better. I dont know why anyone noticed that ? is there any fix ? I have tried almost all ROMs and nothing changed. I attached a photo taken in snapchat. Can you see how bad is it ? is this issue just on the LG G2 ? I Really don't know. Compering to iphone snapchat is much much better
The LG G2 has a lot of camera issues at the moment. Hopefully the OTA will fix these.

I got my lg g2 today and its great after 3 iPhones but the camera quality has been appaling. I changed it 13 mega pixels and it still sucks, i cant post images yet but its not pretty. The camera is very laggy when i try to use it unlike the rrst of the phone. Is this normal and if not had anyone cmgot a fix or experienced this? When.i used instagram it doesnt lag but is still poor quality.

i too was very disappointed about the camera first. blurry, laggy etc. wasn't at all what the community and reviews told it to be. then the phone started rebooting randomly and i went back to the retailer and got a new one. random reboots is gone and this camera is everything i hoped for. like two different cameras.. would try to go to a retailer and compare pictures with another phone.
The have been multiple reports of units shipping with badly scratched lens glass. FYI...

what did you do? my G2's camera is also very poor. is it a hardware issue? should i change the phone?
uSING iNTERNATIONALL VERSION AND NO ISSUES WITH THE CAMERA. OS 4.4.2 UPDATED 3 WEEKS AGO
Maybe you should use this mod http://www.xda-developers.com/android/mod-for-the-lg-g2-brings-120-fps-and-4k-ultra-hd-video-recording/ if it's not from the hardware
Soo I yust got my lgg2 for christmass ans I'm very happy with it. But the camera seems to be lagging why?
because in low light it bumps up the exposure like crazy, which makes the viewfinder lag horribly. it's just how the software is. the camera software on this phone is terrible. do yourself a favor and root and install xdabebbs camera mod. helps a bit.

Hi guys. The camera quality on the snapchat app in really poor. Any reason why? Or how I can fix this. On the galaxy 3 or IPhone is way better.
OK so coming from an LG G2 with an awesome camera even in low light, my biggest concern is camera performance as I just bought a note 3 to replace a G2 with a screen defect. I must likely won't have root as I am sure the phone will arrive with lollipop already installed. I know the lenovo camera is pretty good and on par with the G2 if you hooks it stay on low light mode. I also understand that I won't have OIS either.
Is the sick camera app good in all conditions or its there something better I can use without root for now? Is there an S6 OR N4 camera port that doesn't require root? I ask that because it seems Samsung did a great job with image processing for point and shoot in those two asps. Thanks for any advice!

Either the Google camera app or VSCO Cam they're both really nice
As the title says, when I use Snapchat on the LG G2, the camera quality is horrible/very low; the image is blurry and fuzzy relative to the regular camera app. When I use the regular camera app, the image is much crisper and clearer. Other phones seem to take decent pictures with Snapchat, but why doesn't the LG G2? Am I overlooking some setting? Also, random question, but does the Sprint version of the LG G2 come with a piece of plastic over the camera lens? Yes, the regular camera app does take better pictures when compared to Snapchat, but I'm overall pretty disappointed with the quality. Anyways, any advice would be greatly appreciated! I want to be able to use Snapchat, but the low quality is discouraging me from using it. Thanks!
Edit: I'd also like to add that BOTH picture and video quality are low.
