[Q] How to Upgrade

Hi I have one doubt in upgrade.
If I installed any one ICS build after that how can I upgrade to next build without flash?
Is it possible...
Sent from my MB525 using XDA
Put the new build.zip in your sd, reboot the phone, blue light and stock recovery...
It's pretty intuitive then.
This is also similar to flash...I know this one other method? Becoz every time have to install software

You dont need to do a wipe!!
I made a How To on the bugreport/questions thread... read that...(That is the only way!)
And Huge thanks for making this thread in dev section! really appreciate what u did!!

Questions do not go in the Dev section
Thanks for your support
So No NEED TO WIPE data and cache? Am i right?
So no need to install applications again?
Wipe cache and dalvik cache but not data, and u keep your apps.

are you sure that you have root? open a terminal emulator app then type su. if you get a # symbol, then you have root.

yea, we can flash kernels and roms without having root. you just cant use root apps. im sure that your rom probably has root, every custom rom does. it is possible that your rom has an option t enable and disable root. also, you can also flash the latest root binaries via your recovery. or it could be just the superuser app messing up. delete the app data for the superuser app and try again.
thnx i am thinking to re root and install rom again can u plz suggest latest gapps...plz

you can get most the gapps from the play market. i use a gapps from over a month ago, so you probably wont want it. but why reroot? best thing to do would be to wipe data(factory reset) in your recovery, then reflash your rom and gapps. make a nandroid backup in your recovery first, just in case.
thnx i downloaded latest superuser.zip and installed from recovery mode...everything went to normal..thanx for ur help ahain...

downgrading lg l7 p705 from 4.1.2 to 4.0.3

i have a lg l7 p705 4.1.2 and cant find a way of rooting it. so i am thinking of downgrading it back to 4.0.3, if possible. i am new to this thing and has never rooted a device. would appreciate if you can suggest me a way in a simpler language cause i did saw somethings for what i was looking for but couldnt understand what they were trying to tell
hi man ^^ go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2423376&highlight=downgrade
then click on the link and download the v10k rom (v10k is 4.0.3) and simply flash it using kdz flasher
after the installation you will have 4.0.3 with root and cwm recovery
but remember this: if,after the installation, the phone doesn't boot remove battery then put in the battery and enter in recovery mode, now wipe data and wipe cache and reboot your phone
is really simple
seriosly...you made very simple thanx a lot...one more thing..what does flashing mean and how do i enter recobery mode...it would be really helpful of u
Sent from my LG-P705 using xda app-developers app
for flashing i mean istalling rom using kdz program and to enter recovery mode u have to shutdown the phone and keep pressed vol+,vol-,home,and power button then when u see your phone vibrates release power button but keep pressed all the other buttons until u see the recovery
