I can't seem to flash my LG-P705G correctly ("connection error")

I've been following the instructions in this thread:

And then doing:

Everything seems to work as it should until the actual Phone Update screen pops up.
It starts going through the upgrade process, but then keeps telling me that there's a problem between the cell phone and PC. It wants me to reset my phone and start again. But it does the same error every time.

Can someone please assist me with this? I'm brand new at trying this sort of thing. I've been reading through various threads but can't seem to figure out how to fix this problem.
One person commented on setting the phone to "download mode":
"Try connecting phone in download mode
Press Vol Down and Connect Cable or Press Vol Up and Connect Cable"
I've been trying that, but it doesn't seem to do anything on my phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[Q] LG L7 stack on emergency screen

i have my brother phone in my hands,because yesterday after a call the phone was death.
after many tries the phone open in the emergency screen only. drivers have by install correcty.
when i make the upgrade with R&D test tool i go until 98% and after i get the error "upgrade stopped due an error"
i have try many kdz rom's but most of them stop at 4% only one pass until 98%.
the phone was with original Rom,no root was clean.

Set your phone to 3GQCT and also make sure you set it to EMERGENCY from the list on the right.

msxml is installed and i am on windows 7
Whn i connect the phone i see in the device manager that is regognized ok.

Try to download a completely new V20 file and delete this folder: C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone.
Make sure you also ran Windows Enabler at least once.

i have downloaded again the kdz file and windows enabler is always on,but still i am stack in the "emergency screen"
and always error on 98% wparam 100.
i have include a photo that LG is recognized and device manager if anyone help..

Are you sure your phone type is set to 3GQCT and your phone mode is set to either EMERGENCY or CS_EMERGENCY? When I look at your log file, I see this:

Run KDZ as administrator? Remove your phone's battery and connect it to your PC via your USB cable.

hi,yes i am running "as administrator" and i have remove the battery,and connect to usb..the only strange is when i remove the battery and plug the phone in the usb,without any button pressed is open in the "emergency screen"

I don't think that's right. Your phone should be shut off completely. It should not automatically boot up in emergency mode. Try to boot it up normally with your battery inserted even though it will enter a boot loop, then take your battery out again and plug your phone into your computer. Boot into emergency mode and use KDZ again.

Use a USB port directly connected to the main board, never hub and preferable usb2.0.

Can't make my D802 back to D805 stock.

Tried to flash via LG Support tool, and i receive this error:

Solved. How?:
Forcing D802 back to D805
First, download D80520A KDZ:
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/
After it, follow this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666967
After making your KITKAT 4.4 ROM, flash it through TWRP.
After flash, your phone will not start. Put it on download mode, and follow this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Now you have stock 4.2.2 D805 unrooted.

I can help you. I need original dll for your phone. i made some changrs and you flash your g2 with tot method. Read my post on 4PDA. I am from Ukraine. Sorry for my english.

[Q] Can't install stock ROM for D802

Hi
Now I have CM11 and I'd like to back to stock soft (V20B - as always). So I use R&D Test tool, tick options as always, normal upgrade test, choose language and installation starts. However it stops at 2%.
Whats wrong? I read it may be caused by issue with bootloader. Maybe my recovery (PhilZ)? I have no idea.
Any solutions?

Can you post a logcat. You might need to change your ports to com4. I read somewhere that a hard reset also helps.

Of course I use offline method to flash ROM. Hard reset can't repair this.
