Is anyone having this issue with negalite wonderom freezing after initial phone setup is complete. It hangs for about 30sec to a minute and freezes at the home page restarted the phone manually and the something happens everytime.
I flashed Unknownforce's NAE firmware, i used philz touch recovery to do a clean to install a new rom, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik twice, rebooted to recovery did it one more time installed the rom and everything was fine no issues until after the setup completed. I notice others see to be having different issue with this not similar to mine. I have tried multiple installs using different setups nothing changes same results. \
I would post this on his developer page but xda forum rules don't allow me to yet.

Yeah I'm running pretty smooth here too. I did have trouble with the r16 kernel but stock it comes with in r6 rom worked great and so does r30 !

Had wolfbreaks rom running previous to installing FXP030 and unlocking bootloader, had issues with wolfbreaks rom. FXP030 seemed great and worked well, aside from the odd glitch. Had ran it for 2 days. Tried to update to FXP030b to test out new fixes (use the camcorder often) and upon flashing new kernel FTF file, phone booted, wiped cache, factory reset, wiped batt stats, wiped dalvik cache. loaded up the custom zips, for FXP030b + gapps, booted fine, couldn't get wifi working, couldn't connect with 3g. Tried to crash system server inside bad behavior in the dev tools as per instructions from collosus. upon crashing system service, phone hung hard for over 20 mins stayed on same screen, did not boot again till i flashed stock kernel. Not even FXP030 worked at that point. Hope I was not close to bricking my device.

Hi Buddy,
What you should have done when your phone froze after crashing the system server is to have taken your battery out and then just re-booted your phone, all would have been good.
If you are still at the same stage now from when you posted just flash the fxp kernel in the flashtool provided by J, your phone will now boot with FXP030b.
You was never close to bricking your phone so do not worry.
Hey I installed Liquidsmooth 2.7 yesterday and it kept rebooting. I tried flashing back to CM 10.1 RC5 because it wasn't doing that before. Again it kept rebooting. It reboots like every 30 secs. It's always a quick reboot as well. I flashed back to stock and locked the bootloader but nothing seems to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
yes , install sabermod rom and trinity kernel . enjoy

try the following:
wipe all caches, data & system
install ROM (i recommend SentinelROM 4.8 - it's very fast & stable)
install gapps (if needed)
wipe aigain all caches
reboot system
I tried that, I restored stock and locked the boot loader, I tried to root it again and nothing worked. I contacted Google and I'm getting it replaced. Thanks for the advice though

Hi!
I recently updated my ROM to the Paranoid Android 3.98, I did a full wipe, flashed the ROM, latest Gapps (with TWRP) and ever since the tablet has been become really laggy on opening apps or doing anything. I realised something was wrong straight after I booted it up by how long it was taking to connect to the WIFI etc.
Anyway, its hanging a lot on the unlock screen and sometimes I get a "Process System is not Responding" prompt. I've tried going back into recovery and clearing the caches/data again and its still hanging. Ive also tried using CWM recovery to wipe the tablet, flash the ROM/Gapps etc and its still really slow. Lastly, I just tried a factory reset from the settings menu and again, its still the same!
Any ideas on whats up with it and how to sort it out? I was thinking about unrooting it back to stock although I think the problem will still probably happen. I came from the PA 3.95 build and did a clean flash.
Cheers!
Chris
I think I have fixed it by following a post by Chasmodo on how to do a super-clean install.
1) I booted into recovery.
2) Did the three wipes (Data, Cache, Dalvik) several times over.
3) Went to Mount & Storage and formatted both system & cache*.
4) Flashed PA 3.98 & latest PA-Gapps.
5) Wiped both caches again and rebooted.
As soon as connecting WIFI, signing into Google I could tell it was running a lot faster again and now the lag on the unlock screen & opening apps seems to have stopped, also haven't had the "System Process isn't Responding since."
*Chasmodos version of the super-clean install didn't say to format the cache as well although I had tried just formatting the system and it didn't fix the issue. So I thought I'd try the same process with a cache format as well and now all issues seem to have been rectified.
Cheers
Chris
I cant post in the development forum so hopefully someone herw sees this and can help me. Background info: Got S4 a couple weeks ago and gor the OTA update on my way home and wasnt even thinking and updated to mja. Looked into rooting at that time and seemed there were alot of issues with it so I waited. Finally found a root and rom method to work. Then I got the mk2 ota. Waited till I saw it was no problem and installed stock (ish) v01. Ran it with no issues. V02 came out so i downloaded it and sacs to try sacs out. Installed his and had a few issues so I completely wiped everything. All cache and dalvik and everything philz recovery could wipe. Now on v02 of stockish and programs are stopping out of nowhere. Not force closing just unexpected stops. I start back up and they will run. Also getting invalid signatures from play store when I tey to download some apps. After trying 2-3 times it will finally install. So doea anyone have a fix or solutiom tk these 2 issues?

A couple things that seemed to help when using Philz...
Don't just wipe, manually format system, cache under the advanced option...
after you do all the wiping and formatting under power options reboot recovery, Philz likes the reboot before flashing
Ive had a couple flashing issues like you were describing with different roms and philz but since I started using this approach they seem to flash much better.
I manually formatted system/cache/data under mounts and storage and reboot after clean wipe but I got a response from creator he said to wipe cache and dalvik again and see if things run smooth

Hey guys! I was on Liquidsmooth v3.1 when I decided to update to v3.2 on the 07-27 nightly. I did a clean flash, wiped everything etc but when it first boots up I get hit with this error: "unfortunately themes provider has stopped" when I close out of it it just pops up again in a second. So I'm just stuck on the setup page with that error popping up over and over again. I clean flashed but I still don't know what I did wrong. Can anyone help? THanks!
can anyone help?
Best place for this is LS thread were you will get more exposure. I read your posts there.
You can do the basics over, then try another rom as maybe something in the newer nightlies aren't playing well with your particular phone. Could be something on your internal card.
My basics would be:
ReDownload rom and gapps checking the md5's before flashing--
Wipe all 3x times. That would be System/Data/Both Caches, thru recovery--I use TWRP 2.5.0.2--never an issue. There is a flashable zip for it. Just wipes, no formats, factory resets etc.
If all else fails try reformatting your internal--back up first
Or try another rom for awhile--
Good Luck
