How do you theme the NAE status bar? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Does anyone know how to theme the status bar in NAE? I deodexed the SystemUi.apk, changed the icons to what I wanted , but when I pushed it to the priv-app folder, rename the oder file to odec, and reboot, I have no status bar or home screen wall paper. Obviously this method worked on MJA/MJA.

Im sure you know this but the Wanam Xposed and xthemer in Xposed framework is working pretty ok for me at the moment for my status bar theme. Just and idea.

I use wanam xposed, and using the option for the battery circle works good. But from the time I got my phone through MK2, I have 6 extracted copies of my system ui in a folder, where I can swap the icons to what I want, then zip and rename .apk, then push to system and reboot. I want to be able to do that in KK. I'll have to try xthemer, and just modify a theme.

Transparent Status Bar and Notification Drawer

Hello, everyone. Are there any zip files I could download and flash to make my Status Bar & Notification Drawer transparent? I'm very new to XDA, and my first post was in the wrong category. I posted this same question under App & Themes. Sorry.

What rom?
I'm running CM7.2 stable. There's one zip file called Thememodrings by Cocolopes, but it's for CM7.1, I think. Will that work?
Update: I've successfully flashed a transparent status bar patch by 'slurpdroid'.

Decompile framework.apk or tw-framework.apk ..
Replace the icons nd recompile it nd push the edited.apk back

systemui or framework ?
x-plore can open apk as a zip file. can I use it to replace icon ?

Simply replacing icon with exactly the same name will work sometime. Try to replace files or images one by one rather than extracting all files. It will lead to installation error.

How to port a ROM's lidroid toggles and status bar to another ROM?

I want to port the lidroid toggles from Simplicity to USSRv7. How would I do this? I have the lidroid res, system ui, and framework res apks.
Sent from my GT-P3110 using xda app-developers app
Change the file extension of lidriod-res.apk to zip
Unzip lidriod-res.zip
goto res/drawable-hdpi
Copy the toggles pngs only
Past them to your unzipped res/drawable-hdpi
zip back up and change extention back to apk
put in flashable zip and flash with system mounted
I just replaced my lidroidres.apk with the one from the ROM I wanted and it worked! Thanks though

Yes just replace lidroid-res.apk to change toggles if your rom uses lidriod in its ui
Any problems just unzip the lidroid-res.apk of the toggles you want & past them into one from your rom

[Q] themed icons

HI guys I have a simple question. I noticed that if you have a theme with moded icons for a certain app and if that app updates via playstore, that app's icon will revert to norrmal. And no matter how many times I flash the theme the icon wont revert to its modified icon. Any solution for this would love to be able to fix this

Change on screen bottom bar icons

Hi there,
I am running cm11 nightly and I was wandering what directory contains the images for the icons on the bottom bar? I know cm themes can change them but I would like to be able to change them manually.
Thanks

system ui apk, inside /system/app (or priv-app don't remember).
I know you can change using soft key z (free on xda), don't know if you can use custom, you may look at it
