I'm looking for an alternative to CM 11 for galaxy note 3 for Sprint. I am having issues with cm and although it's only a nightly mod I am still trying to broaden my options.

Well there's a few custom CM builds which work for the P model, temasek's build / AOSB by codexc / Beanstalk Unofficial by kenzolo and there's CarbonROM - all of which are the new unified and have Sprint users using them,

Cyanogen Mod team has dropped its support for exynos chipped devices hence, hence CM wont be coming on Note 2.
We can wait for unofficial builds for someone to port it
Someo e has already ported cm10 but alot of things dont work...
i know aokp has more features than cm and cm has more features than aosp but why would people want a rom with aosp base???
in the end all roms are based on aosp, cos that is the source of all sources.
AOSP is the original android released by Google.and cm and aokp are it's modified versions.

look here and here, official cm nightlies have not been published, yet, but some unofficial builds, like:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516316
crDroid is based on cm11! .. the pa team is working hard, new features are developed and the old one merged into 4.4 source!.. some custom builds are already working almost, but no build for mako, so far :/
please look next time in the forums yourself
dreaded after call drain bug or is it just only on cm10.2 & cm11 roms only ?
I tested it. This bug was already in cm9. So basically all custom aosp roms carry this bug around, since they forked the device tree from cm

ok guys i have just release a unified build of AOSPA on the atrix hd developers thread and i would like some of you to test it out as i dont have a xt926 or xt925. also do a backup of current rom before flashing. thanks
Am I right, that AOSPA has the same features than ParanoidAndroid?
Maybe I'm going to try out the unified build later this week.
AOSPA is ParanoidAndroid just in advance don't expect all the features just yet. The PA team is working hard on new reinvented halo and hybrid settings .
