[APP] Flow for Reddit (Pre-Beta) - Android Software Development

Disclaimer: I am not the developer of this app, Deepak Manoharan is. He doesn't seem to have created an XDA thread, so I'm making one so that people on XDA can know about his extremely thoughtfully designed app.

Flow is a very well designed Reddit browser, with a clean, extremely responsive and gesture friendly UI.
It has features like an integrated picture and YouTube viewer, integrated web browser, multiple account support, cards UI, themes, image download and more.
Moreover, unlike many popular Reddit browser apps, its ad free.
It's a very intuitive app, and I'd recommend that any reddit users on XDA check it out at least once.
Please report any bugs here, on the /r/RedditFlow subreddit or on the G+ group so that the developer can work towards resolving them.
Get it for free on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deeptrouble.yaarreddit

This has been my default reddit app for a couple of months. Don't let the pre-beta put you off, the app is extremely stable.

[Q] Facebook Places

Hey all,
Do we have any more information regarding an update for Facebook for Android? I am fed up as I think everyone is of people targeting iPhones for developing etc.
My HTC Desire is perfectly capable of running FB Chat and FB Places so I think its stupid that Facebook wouldn't give us an upgrade.
Just wondering, thats all. Ta Guys
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. iPhones are preferred for no reason, Facebook Places has been out for quite some time now, and we can all use the HTML5 based touch.facebook.com. However, the Facebook application for Android keeps being the same lame old duck as always.
I've been writing reviews, complaining, participating on discussions on Facebook and several other locations, but nothing happens. It is ridiculous that I now have to open my browser and use touch.facebook.com everytime.
But whatever
you can use the fb touch site for fb places

Samsung Focus Lock Screen Wallpaper

Here's a quick wallpaper I made up for our Samsung Focuses (Foci?). I have both with and without the Samsung text. Set for 800x480 resolution.

FYI: The more I play with this phone. The more I like it. Maybe we should start a thread for popular apps.
So far I've installed the following:
The Weather Channel
Ebay
Facebook
Adobe Reader
Netflix
Youtube
Twitter

These are the only apps so far, lol.
For WP7 and AT&T users, I've posted some more lockscreen wallpapers in the following thread. For those who like the clean UI, I've made some AT&T wallpapers that stay with that theme:

Here's and example:
more wall papers
thanks to the hard work by tempest790, i decided to make some wall papers based on his original design. they can all be found here damak5.deviantart.com/gallery/
i would link to the pictures but forum rules preventing that

[APP] App Inventory|v1.0|Easiest way to find your apps!

Before any1 starts to be doubtful about the actual app because of my post count, well I thought I create a new account before I post the APP. My previous account was: cupi1234.
APP INVENTORY
What's this?
-App Inventory is an android application that it's main feature is to ease mainly developers every days. Rom Developers flash their rom every week,so they have to reinstall apps every time they reflash it. Although if you backup apps, they don't get updated so you end up with an old app which needs to be updated every time you flash.
How does this work?
-Basically it gathers all the most useful and most used apps by the community from the android market.
Why did you made this?
-ONLY for personal use,but then I thought I would share it with the community, just in case if any1 will need this.
Enough talking,let's see some screenshots!

BLADESLINGER is now FULL PLAYABLE and without force close in Xperia Play

Recently the Bladeslinger received an good update, that solved the major problems in the game. Previously, the game had Force Close issues, and many lags. Now, in the currently version, 1.4.0, is all perfect! I bought the game direct from Google Play and have tested for many hours without any problem. This game is absolutly amazing. Although without gamepad support, the experience in touch screen mode is very enjoyable.

Again, as what I have posted here about Blitz Brigade:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293591
While there is a thread here already for this game:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2181201
I dont see why you had to make a new thread when simply adding to the above would be a much better place to state any news and or updates on an existing game. That way everyone sees it and they dont have to look for a new thread in the wrong forum for it.
Man, keep calm. If have some wrong with this, the modetator take the correct providences. I Just want help.

Buddy, contact Mod to split your thread with mine, so we can collect all news in one place .

Article - Making an app survive in Android’s ocean

"As apps’ visibility becomes more and more difficult, app developers are working hard to make their apps stand out among thousands of new apps appearing every day. There is a big variety of articles out there on how to increase an app’s discoverability through ASO techniques, marketing campaigns and others. What is most important, though? Spend on ad marketing campaigns? Creating press releases, or dive into Google Play mechanisms to understand and position better an app on store? Anyone could argue that app developers should be doing all of that anyway…this is so true, but where should be their main focus?"

You may spend some money, if you have enough.
ASO is very important but you don't need too much time for writing text and improving it sometimes.
What you have to work hard with is your audience beyond Google Play. Demonstrate the app anywhere you can. Use social networks, SMM. People should notice you.
Well, that's what I think
