They are where you would expect them to be, but they are greyed out.

Hi all I'm on AOKP build 3 ATM and I want to upgrade to build 4 but I don't want to wipe everything and have to reinstall all my apps and etc. How do I upgrade to build 4 without doing so? Can I just clear cache and dalvik cache and flash the new build?
Exactly.

Would I also need to reflash gapps or its OK not to?
I've been using yargs for about a month now and always seems to have problems with my WiFi dropping. I made a cwm backup before I flashed yargs but would hate to have to revert my phone that far back.
I'm on newest ota rooted and unlocked.

Restore just an earlier system to restore kernel.
I have not seen a stock zip but I bet arrrghhh's Q kernel thread has one.

I think you could RSD straight to the OTA without wiping data. That should work. Or you could extract the boot.img from the RSD and flash it via fastboot

Thanks for the solution but I was hoping for a flashable zip. I have yet to dabble with RSD and am sorta nooby with this stuff.

Checked out his thread here on xda and didn't see the RAZR m stock kernel.
I have a cwm backup from when I was using stock kernal. Anyway I can extract just the kernel from that?

No. But you can restore just that system. Wipe dalvik & cache, not data.
OR
Just reflash your rom. Wipe dalvik & cache, not data.

Get the full RSD XML from http://sbf.droid-developers.org
Then, open it using something like 7 zip. You should be able to find the boot.img in there.

If you're switching from something other than Omni - you need to factory reset.
If you're updating from an older Omni build with gapps installed - flash Omni and you don't need to do anything else. gapps will automatically be backed up
i updated it n everything's fine... but one problem, the playstore app is missing so I downloaded it n installed but it KEOS force closing n says google services has stopped

Cannot reproduce.
I9100 has a small system partition so you need to use "mini" gapps

Some apps break, and because some things break with ART, any bug reports you file in Omni's bugtracker (JIRA) will be closed as invalid. (well, currently closed as RTFM, we need to add an "invalid" category.)

So should I try ART?

So I've flashed a ton of Roms on my jflteatt. It came with MDL, and is currently running Beanstalk 4.4.2 (the latest) with ktoonsez kernel.
I want to be able to flash new Roms without having to restore all apps and data.
I found out that I could make an update.zip in TB, and that brought all of my apps back without downloading. The only problem is that all my logins had to be re entered.
Is there a way to make an update zip that includes all that information, so I don't have to put all my passwords in?
Thanks in advance.

There should be a specific package you can back up with the accounts, but I believe it shows as a system package.

I have the flashable through recovery version of stock kit Kat. Since I did not use a LG tool to flash it, can I still flash another non stock kit Kat Rom or do I have to downgrade. I still have twrp so I'm guessing I should Be ok, just worried about partitions.

Do you have custom recovery? Then yes. Are you referring to ROM's like CloudyFlex, etc?
Ya twrp, went to install Mahdi Rom for d801 and got horrible reception and no data, so was curious if it's a kitkat doing it.

You flashed this radio right? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705509
Also, if you wish to use stock KK ROM's just wipe and flash away.
Yeah I flashed that and than tried a T-Mobile only modem, no auto rotate either so that might be the problem
