Its true..I think these are the lists which are not getting android kitkat...

IF samsung decides to give us the 4.4 update. sure, it can run on devices with 512mb of ram, but the question is not whether google will enable it because it was already answered and it is possible, but the question is whether samsung will develop it for devices such as our grand.

Yeah I also think getting offical 4.3 or 4.4 is quite unrealistic however we might get it unofficially as even low spec device like motorala defy got it unfocially

very disappointing how OEMs seem to just "neglect" their old devices, but, i guess that is just how business goes. :crying:

Guys hope for the best always my friend is in Samsung and he says hes a manager actually he says it might get but grand 2 is real and afaik 4.4 grand accordin to me made mre sales here in mysore than note series or S series so lets wait fingers crossed:thumbup:

According to the source, Samsung is thinking of bringing Android 4.4 KitKat to its several mid-end devices. The list includes the Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S3 mini, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Ace 3, Galaxy Core, Galaxy Fame, Galaxy Ace 2, and the Galaxy Fresh -likely there are other devices else but not captured in the picture. We don't know if it's real or not. We can just hope that Samsung will bring the new life to them, and of course our Galaxy S3 Mani.

Hopefully we get 4.2 i dont really think we gonna get kitkat, maybe just the chocolat but no the OS.

cm 11 suits your need. it's great you have kitkat before it's officially released

Android L is not yet released, only a preview build...
Talk about it after note 4 gets android L... until then there is no use to talk about it

There will be world peace before the Note 8.0 gets an official L update.

Don't hold your breath. The Note 8.0 isn't really being marketed anymore so I'd be surprised if Samsung spends more development resources on it.
It will be definitely be more credible if it shows up on a list published by Samsung.
