The call icon is not present in Samsung stock, but it can be enabled by several Xposed modules like Wanam. If you are using Xposed, find which module is enabling it and uncheck it.
P.S. : Queries like this belong in Q&A/Troubleshooting thread.

Most sounds are read off the oggs located in system/media/audio/ui
You'll see your file there. You can replace the file if you want. I have mine say, "You are weak. You must feed." It's off the Soul Reaver game back in the PS1 days.

You can disable it by installing the Xposed framework then installing the Xposed Tweakbox module.

There is an application for that:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appsideout.silentbattery
You do not need to "root" or "jailbreak" your phone to use this app.
It will work directly, on any smartphone.

I have installed the text link apk and the text link engine apk (and changed the permissions) but when I try use the app I get a pop up saying it cannot display... I must try again later, so I reckon there is maybe another apk that is needed for the text link ones to work properly, anyone have an idea which apk(s) it needs for text link to work? thanks

Finally I found the solution to disable chrome/beta opening in floating mode :
Just install this xposed module
"XHaloFloatingWindow"
you can find it in download menu of xposed installer
enable it and reboot your phone
open XHaloFloatingWindow
go to popup behavior, blacklist apps and add chrome/chrome beta
terminate chrome and restart it
enjoy full window

Hi Ken, nice to see you here from the Note 3 forums.
The method has been posted a couple of times, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56771426&postcount=4054
Regardless, now we need a fix for it on ART! :good:

Check if SELinux is Enforcing and yes then change it to permissive by using SELinux modechanger or just go to terminal emulator or/else adb shell and type
su (give su permissions if not given)
setenforce 0
