Is there any way of enlarging the image displayed when a call comes in? Mine is half a finger nail, and pointless. Doesn't seem to change no matter the size of the original photo.
Simply open up the contact picture on your desktop PC and resize the image
The WM5 will store the picture as a property of the contacts in 72x72 no matter the size of original picture.
yes picture seems to be stored in pim.vol (contact\appt info) the only way i found to get picture better is use a cropped rectangle picture vertically longer so the resulting image seems to come out about 75 x 120 - hope that helps

On my old Jam, it would allow you to pick what size you wanted the contact pic to be. Like you guys, the photo ID is tiny and useless. Is there a program to organize the photo ID's like on the JAM?
If you want gaint person pictures try Photo Contacts (std or pro) over at http://www.pocketx.net. Also has a neat cropping program so you can make contact pictures from existing photgraphs...
photo contacts pro is ugly... I would like the pic to fill the pop up window in an incoming call like IA Caller on 2003SE used to do Besides, photo contacts pro dows NOT get the pics you've allready assign in Contacts... you got to assign them allover again

You wouldn't want to use the pictures from contacts because they are tiny, 72x72, and when photo contacts pro would blow it up it would look absolutely horrible. Personally I enjoy the feature that PhotoContacts lets your crop any picture. And saving the pictures is even easier, all you do is name the file using the name of your contact and put it in the photoContacts folder.

use S2U2, it has that option to display contact's image to fullscreen mode while incoming call comes
Does anyone have a problem uploading a photo for a contact? Mine does not work - when I select a photo during contact edit, it does not upload. I then launch Gallery and select the photo to "Set as" a contact photo. The device screen goes black for a few seconds and then crashes with the message "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped". Eventually, I had to use another device running Android 4.2 to load the photo for a contact.

I have a problem with my Note 3 on kitkat 4.4.2 version.
The contact small photo on contact list and call log list and viber contact list and viber call are very hazy and very low resolution after l made sync with PC outlook contact.
Instead the contact photo is clear and with high resolution when you make a call.
The problem only with small photo on all list and the viber contact.
Whenever I change the photos with high resolution in viber list once I close viber and open it again they will be again with low resolution, while in call log and contact list they are with low resolution all the time.
Any one can help me please it becomes irritating me to muh.???????
