Try to flash a different kernel mate.

Can you give a one please cause I don't know where to find it

I smell Knox has something to do with this...
Try flashing last leak without disabling knox

I didn't understand exactly what you said but but I already tried to install the new leaked rom which it (I9505XXUFNAD)and nothing changed
The Wi-Fi steal doesn't working.

I am facing the same issue, flashed stock many times, it gets stuck after using group play, then switch gets stuck and nothing cant be done, already tried flashing XXNAD wifi fix, modem, jeebo's kernel (which doesnt seem to be flashed), etc

Just found the fix, just switch ro.securestorage.support to false in build.prop

I'll make a flashable zip for it, else you can try to edit it on /system/build.prop
EDIT: try it: View attachment wifi_fix_i9505_XXUFND.zip

Does this work only for 4.4.2 bootloader or for 4.3 firmwares as well?

wifi problem to, with android 4.4.2 on S4 i9505
Hy, I have a wifi problem with my upgraded S4, my wifi turns on but it connects only to my home wifi, if i want to conect to other wifi networks it says"find ip adress " and thats all, after that it`s start all over again to find ip adress and don`t connect. My friend with an S4 with 4.3 can connect to other wifi networks so i thinks is a problem with this update that i made to my phone. Anyone can fix this problem?

editing Built.prop done the job
you are great man
for anyone else trying to do this
you need to do
1) root
2) file explorer, i used "Total Commander"
3) go to File System Root>system
4) open built.prop with inbuilt total commander editor
5) search ro.securestorage.support=true, edit and change true to false
6) save then file and reboot

Hello
Facing the same problem here. Upgraded my gti9505 from 4.3 to 4.4.2 and wifi is no longer working.. Can you please give step by step instructions on how to install wifi_fix_i9505_XXUFND.zip?
I have tried the other method with total commander and although i give it root access (my phone is rooted) i can't save the edited file. Something like i don't have the permission..

Solution : the CSC wasn't the good one, flash the bootloader and wifi is back
Hi
I had the same issue and after checking all the revision number with *#12580*369# I see that the CSC version wasn't the one that was in the stock rom.
So I flash the stock ROM again but instead of PDA, i set the BOOTLOAD/BL. Then the CSC version come back to the normal number.
And the wifi works again !
You have to root again the phone if it was previously root, and no data are lost, the phone is not factory reset :silly:
Hope it helps

If you'd done a quick search either here or on Google you would have found that once you'd flashed the 4.3 Rom complete with bootloader there is no going back. Suggest you maybe read a little more before you Flash next time to be sure it's the outcome that you want

I did a quick google search for "Android 4.3 S4 issues" before I flashed my OTA update. Nothing about a locked bootloader made headlines. I figured, like with every other flash I've ever done, I could roll it back if I needed to. I was wrong. I feel like we are entering a new era.

I guess before saying that to others you need to apply that for yourself.
OP said he is wanting to downgrade from 4.3, not from 4.4.2

I'm just saying it's not possible without getting many problems (no wifi, no network, no sound, drain battery, random reboots, etc...). New bootloader of android 4.4.2 have incredible restrictions (so much more than 4.3). Samsung dont want we downgrade.
*EDIT: The solution for ur problem is easy: Flash again android 4.4.2 KitKat :highfive:

You might be able to fix WiFi by changing ro.securestorage.support to false in build prop. Let me know whether or not this works.

Download CPU z and lux brightness from play store.
CPU z has an option which shows the values returned by your sensors.
Move your phone a bit and check if they change accordingly.
Try lux brightness to change ur brightness
From where you downloaded your stock ROM and how did you flashed it?
Which recovery are you using?

you live in Spain?
If you do live in Spain and use Vodafone then your firmware is OK, else not.
Try to format your data and cache from recovery, FORMAT not just wipe and then flash the stock firmware through Odin.

Omega rom V 33 - XXUGNF1 Modem problem

Hi,
I've successfully upgraded my Omega Rom on my galaxy S4 to V 33 - XXUGNF1. The thing is, I downloaded the LTE modem XXUGNF1 as well but after I flashed it with Odin, I still see I9505XXUFNC9 in my specs on the phone...
In the installation guide on the site they use I9505XXUFNC9_GSM_LTE_Modems.tar as well for installation, so I wonder if it's not possible to install the XXUGNF1 version. It would be weird since I can donwload the XXUGNF1 modem from their site....
Anyone an idea what went wrong? Didn't I flash correctly? I dont know which bootloader I have (dont know where to see that), but since I have KitKat I guess I have the new boatloarder...
Thanks!

There are a few steps to be followed. I had the same problem and I will make a review on Youtube in order to get rid of this.
1. Download Odin v3.04. Google it, it's the first link.
2. Download the prefered modem.
3. Get into Download and open Odin.
4. Connect your device via USB to your computer.
5. UNTICK auto-reboot. THIS IS CRUCIAL.
6. Set your modem .tar in PHONE seciton.
7. Hit Start.
8. After it's done, unplug your S4.
9. Turn it off BY REMOVING BATTERY.
10. Boot again into Download and flash it again, following the same steps.
11. After the flashing is complete, remove USB and power off using power button.
12. Boot up and your modem should be changed.
13.(OPTIONAL) If it doesn't work, flash it again and again...It should work though.:victory:
isf please tell me:
why remove the battery and then flash it again? doesnt make sense to me

So here is my issue right now. I received a gift from a friend which is a bluetooth headset however when i tried turning on my bluetooth toggle on my phone it doesnt turn on. I tried flashing multiple times the NON-HLOS.bin and modem.bin compatible to my current setup. However after multiple attempts it really doesnt turn on. If someone could please me out here. By the ive tried different methods already using android terminal and odin(versions 3.09, 3.07).
Thank you!

i didnt notice when it all started. i just noticed it just recently when i needed a bluetooth connectivity. will you help me troubleshoot it? is there a need for a log for it? im still trying to flash the modem and non-hlos files through different versions of odin.
I will try to flash a AOSP or CM based ROM.. i just tried re-flashing recently to fix the issue by flashing TW based.

if you can provide log it would be awesome but you better flash stock ROM it would be better.
I have the exact same issue, but i have to mention that the problem started randomly (my father had the phone and suddenly bluetooth wont work anymore on stock rom)
I tried flashing even with .PIT file but still doesnt help.
If anyone got the solution or possible fixes please reply to this thread so me and other users can see it !

From your 1st image AP: XXUGNG8 and CP: XXUFNBE (modem). So, modem didn't updated. You must flash the NG8 GSM/NON-HLOS modems the right way. Check it here wifi-not-going-on-i9505-flashing-custom-room.

yeah, i was using gng8 build of goldeneye. i will try this. later.. im waiting to have my battery full again before flashing.. i also find it that the it randomly turns on the bluetooth so i drains my battery as well. it's giving me a hard time even though i have power bank i took some time to charge.
I am currently on stock GNG4 build.. as well as my modem and non-hlos are non the same build.. i will try later to flash the bootloader of the same build if this will fix it.. crossing fingers. I will let you know guys once done for the results

Hi mates,
Kindly see attached logcat file that i extracted and filtered only with blue keyword using catlog app.
From your CatLog: BluetoothAdapterState(21311): Error enabling Bluetooth - hardware init failed
=> BT service failed to start. I suggest you
1) Try to update the GSM/HLOS modem
2) Try to update the boot loader (BL)
3) Test another kernel; I suggest the excellent KT-SGS4
4) Using a BuildProp editor, change this property "ro.securestorage.support" to false; this solves Wi-Fi not going on problems (blocked by knox), managed by this same modem code.
BTW: did you removed Knox? Is your phone knox void?

Thanks mate for your suggestion.. i already did try to flash GSM/HLOS modem as well as with the wifi fix. I've been using KT kernel ever since as I find it more stable. Even if i used GoldenEye latest build it's knox free and i already have tripped my knox counter. for your recommendation of updating the bootloader.. should i use the latest one even if it's still not available on my region? or should i use the latest one present on my region? (btw im on GLB/SIN CSC).

I checked this (Samsung Updates - Region/?region=GLB) and seems XXUGNG4 is the last firmware for SIN. You can try XXUGNG8 / DBT stock or GoldenEye. BTW: I´m on O2C/DBT CSC. It seems that DBT (German) is allways the first released firmware. I´ve got in troubles with this XXUGNG4 version. See full story here. Good luck.

Ok i will try it.. im still worried on the latest builds though. as there are possible issues that may arise. and it's in its premature phase,
Im currentl on NG4 bootloader and modem but on NG8 Goldeneye rom with KTkernel. Still bluetooth feature not working and phone heats up too much with battery drain. This week i will be purchasing a battery. My battery seems to be a bit bloated, but not too much. It may be a battery problem.

Im using the gng4 build, using as well the latest KT kernel, do mind sharing your config for the KT? heat issues are resolved. connections over mobile data and wifi are ok. random reboots gone.

First, you're in the wrong thread, post under this thread to get help http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/help
Also, don't forget to give us some clue to solve your problem, which kernel are you using?, rom?, which guide you used to update to 4.4.2?, your carrier, bootloader version and modem version?
Thanks
