[Q] Launcher 8 pro and stock kitkat overriding background - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey
I got the Launcher 8 pro and their support isn't answering so here I am.
Often it seems that my settings of black background in the launcher is overriden by the OS, Kitkat to a blue-ish stock wallpaper and I have to go into settings and lock + homescreen to change it back to my black picture OR go into Launcher 8 pro settings background - black
so, it seems like i can't make Launcher 8´s settings to stick so it seems like i have to change the stockwallpaper, any ideas on how to do this?

Full Tablet UI Launcher?

Hi All! I'm trying to get as close to full tablet UI without changing the DPI. Just wondering if anyone knows a launcher replacement that runs in tablet mode and not in phone mode? I'm trying to combine it with the tablet bar in the EOS rom. Apex Launcher works but is buggy - apps grid only takes up half the screen and no icon labels show.
Thanks.
Go launcher ex works fine in landscape mode.
Have you tried Nova Launcher?

[Q] customisation - launcher/wallpaper/scrolling question

Hi guys, how can I set a wallpaper like this: http://mycolorscreen.com/wp-content/uploads/wallpapers_2012/132266/kDBng.png
to scroll properly between 3 screens?
I've tried stock, nova and launcher pro and they all want to crop it and scroll so the centre one still shows a bit on the left and right
any ideas?
cheers

[Q] Wallpaper size issue,

Hi,
I have recently installed 4.4.2 and my launcher is Go Launcher Ex,
The problem is with the wallpaper which is goes all the way under the screen keys and notification bar,
Since it’s a white wallpaper it makes the status bar almost invisible,
This didn’t happen to me on 4.2.2 where the status bar remains with black background,
Does anyone knows how to change this?
Thanks,
Ok , I guess this was quick…
I have managed to resolve this by going into Go Launcher “common settings” then remove the checkbox from “3D Core(Beta)”
Thanks,
This is an attempt to mimic the behavior found in the Google Experience Launcher. To make the nav bar see through. Since this is the behavior most Launchers are working toward, it might be a better idea not to use white wallpapers. Who knows when it won't be a switch anymore.

HELP: Hide Navbar on S8 Touchwiz doesn't work after installing Nova Launcher

So I stupidly installed Nova Launcher just to try it out. Discovered the inability to hide the navbar on my homescreen problem (seriously teslacoil? not cool).
Spent ages searching for a way to get back to where I was.
Installed Nova Laucher Beta 5.4 beta 3 which allows it to be hidden whilst using nova laucher but still isn't hidden if I go back to touchwiz! I can see the hide button inside apps and it's working (navbar disappears, just swipe up yo see it) everywhere but the homescreen.
VERY frustrating. Anyone know of a fix for this?
I just want touchwiz back the way it was with the navbar hidden on the homescreen
EDIT: Just to be clear - Navbar was hidden on the homescreen using Touchwiz before I installed Nova Launcher. Isn't now.
Latest beta Nova launcher supports hiding the navbar.
Install it then go to settings > look & feel > notification bar. You will see it there.
Can't help you with touchwiz as I've literally never used it

[MIUI] Remove Theme manager from lock screen

I got this device for my parents. So I'm not going through trouble of rooting and flashing custom roms.
So I thought to debloat all the miui stuff.
By far I've pretty much been successful, disabling apps through adb.
What I can't get around is the fact that there is a custom mechanism through which lock screen is being shown. This app called Theme manager (com.android.thememanager) is enabling something called wallpaper crousel.
Now I've disabled both, but doing so sets a default static wallpaper. I want it to be same as home screen (rotating Goohle wallpapers). But there seems no way to do it.
Any help would be appreciated, just want to get to stock lock screen or at least set same home screen / lock screen wallpapers.
I have a rick that worked. go themes than go to live wallpapers set any one live wallpaper from the themes app on both homescreen and lockscreen now go to google wallpaper app and set a wallpaper on homescreen and lockscreen this will work on recent miui 10 roms.
