Hey last day my phone fell off from my hand(Karbonn A21) and now from tomorrow it reboots automatically after certain time..
Is there any software problem or hardware problem
Flashing stock ROM can solve the problem???

It can be either as info is inadequate.it can b hardware if the battery is not properly inserted and it cam b software if you have installed some apps which causes it to reboot.if u can check the connectors then it would b gr8 or if that doesn't fix the problem try to install custom rom .hope it helps you bro..

i had flashed an incompletely downloaded rom[that i didnt know] ......
after that am getting reboots even on most stable ARHD .............
Now am on ARHD 7.0.4 .....
reboots wont come continously.....
.the phone may work for one or 2 days without any reboots.....
it may reboot during charging , while surfing in internet etc.....no particular situation for it to come........
need help please.......................
Try wiping data and flash another ROM.....could be some problem in the ROM.

My phone touchscreen is not working whenever the screen backlight went off and whenever the screen is lock. It again works for sometime after rebooting or flashing stock rom and the same problem starts again. I have also updated my touchscreen firmware but it doesn't solve the problem. Please help me. Please. Don't tell me to go to samsung care coz my warranty period is over and there is no samsung care centre at my place.. Otherwise, I have to say good bye to my Galaxy y from today. Please, please, please help me.

Hi there!
After hours of search on various sites I did not get the actual solution as my galaxy y turns off during call. This is happening for last couple of days. Phone is rooted.
And finally I have to visit the xda. Is there any specific solution for the problem?
One more problem is with adb root command.
While executing the command it displays "adbd cannot run as root in production builds"
whats the problem ?
Kindly reply if anyone has the solution for the above mentioned problem.

For the adb....
U need to be on a custom kernel
And ur call problem and sudden switch off
U have to flash a stock rom or i reccomend using a custom rom...

Hey there, the problem is what the title is saying.... Actually that happend when my sgy get into the water and when i turn it off its keep charge... Ive restored to stock rom and its keep charging.. I was think to flash stock rom using odin... Anybody know how to fix that..

I guess u should try flashiing stock rom first if it still persists....it wont though....

You are saying,you was dropped your sgy in water,So this problem may be persists for hardware damage issue.....
But before taking any hardware fixing trial.....first flash your stock rom via odin flash....
After flashing wait approx 30 seconds phone without battery,and then install battery and switch on your phone.....
If not fixed,then try to fix hardware.....:thumbup::thumbup:

Its a hardware problem..... Keep ur phone in a box of uncooked rice overnight. D moisture will dry by keeping it in box of rice.
If still d problem exists then take it to d service center

I would request users to answer related to the question.....
The user dint inform that her phone doesnt switch on or the water has damaged the device etc....
He question is about phone automatically charging which can be either FW issue r HW issue....
From where did a bag of rice get in the middle?

Jst clean charging port while battery is not inserted..!!
ure usb conector is broken
go to service centre

the following should work----[try 1 at a time]
1-)go to recovery mod then wipe data & cache(then check if ur prblm persists)
2-)flash stock rom(then check if ur prblm persists)
3-)i f u are rooted go to clockworkmod recovery then go to advanced then select wipe battery stats(then check if ur prblm persists)

You should flash stock firmware using odin

number of things could be wrong
1 - bug in rom
2 - bug in kernel
3 - faulty power button/hardware (although would normally see phone switching off in other areas too)
4 - you are holding the power button by mistake when talking (unlikely though)
best thing is to do what has already been mentioned - flash stock rom via odin - that way you can eliminate the top two in that list if it still happens
