About Carbon Rom​
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. I ported this rom from galaxy s2 i9100 using a very simple method. This ported carbon rom is based on Paul's pac 23.0 so all credit to Paul for his wonderful rom. At that time the only stable 4.2.2 rom for our devices is pac 23.0 since cm10.1 is still not in advance developement. However i pormise to update/ported again using the latest cm10.1 as based. Also thanks to all carbon developer for such an amazing rom.. :victory: HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THIS ROM​

INSTALLATION GUIDE

3. Go to recovery mod
4. Apply Full wipe (Dalvik, cache and data/factory reset)

just wanted to share.. later i will update the rom..

The ROM is pretty smooth. But there's no real difference with CM and PAC besides Carbon Settings ( which is pretty much the same as AOKP Settings in PAC )

Thanks.. but unfortunately omx not fixed yet as this rom is based from pac rom.im so sorry..didnt have time to update the rom based on latest cm10.1 (omx also is not fix yet)..

Maybe I'm the only who doesn't see any sence of these roms with the same bugs. IMHO it could be better to join the team of developers of CM and help them if you want. Now there's uncomfortable situation for users: we have many roms, the half of which is themed stock with same content and another half is CM clones with same bugs. Don't want to hurt anybody, but I also may say my opinion.

Not all CM based ROMS are the same they have the same bugs, but we have:
- CM10&10.1
- MIUI
- PAC 23.0 & Beta7
- Carbon
- PA
As CM based an each ROM has a different concept. It's true that Carbon and PAC share many things, but both is different.
For Stock we have
- Pure Vanilla
- JellyMod
- Windows Phone Project
- LightJB
- HarshJelly
With Vanilla and JM to be Google themed and LightJB and HarshJelly stock Sammy.
Windows Phone Project is also one entirely different concept.
Everyone is complaining about to many ROMs, but as I said, all are different!

trebuchet launcher
This is the best ROM i've ever seen (that too in beta stage - great work),
but trebuchet launcher is not working as u've mentioned and what about fx music and dsp manager - cant u remove one?, Email app crashes regularly - error is - Unfortunately , Exchange service has stopped.
and how to uninstall the stock apps in this rom ? so that i can uninstall the apps like email,voice dailer, etc...
and the screen appears like vibrating (not stable display) while playing temple run 2,
and facebook not logging in...

Hello Ace users!
Today, I'm releasing my first Rom for the Samsung Galaxy Ace! It is based on CyanogenMod 7.2 but I have tweaked to make it run and perform better. Some apps have been taken out but you always can download better ones via Play Store. Try it out tell me how it is, and together we shall make it better!
Note: These releases only work on the S5830!
Main Features:
- Using a very stable build of the official CyanogenMod rom
- Awesome boot animation! (Thanks Tovagulet!)
- Touch sensitivity is improved
- Many programs that run in the background have been removed
- Very customizable
- Most changes are under the hood
- Performance gain by at least %15 than original!

- [20140126] First Release - Removed Email, Androidian Theme - Added touch sensitivity adjustments, custom boot animation and Holo launcher
- [20140128] Second Release - Added Performances X Zeno Edition, Adreneline Boost, Added a tweak to save power on sleep, more sensitive touch
- 20140209 Third Release - Added Seeder, made changes to buld.prop, removed CyanBread Theme for a smaller zip, BoostBust added!
- 20140302 Fourth Release - Added Root File Manager, fixed the themes issue from previous update, added Noozy and one more tiny script for ram optimization
- 20140520 Fitfh Release - Removed Noozy (it was using a lot of ram), increased dalvik cache from 32mb to 64mb, new boot animation, lots of build prop tweaks, added a battery saving feature in the rom (in build prop), made home force into memory
Installation:
1. Download my Rom and Gapps
2. Go into your CWM 5.0.2.6 or TWRP 2.7.0.0 recovery
3. Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache!
4. Flash my Rom FIRST!
5. Then flash the Gapps package!
6. Reboot (takes 3-5 mins on first boot)
7. And enjoy!

and what are the ram management tweaks added in this rom?

Well, most of the apps that are heavy in the background are gone. Also I replaced the launcher that is easy on low end phones. I have compared the original cm7 and this ROM and I can tell you this is faster. Compare the cm7 and CyanLightspeed ram usage after a fresh installation, you will be amazed. Tell me if you want anything new in the next nightly!

Yes its working now, i tried from there but the first download were bad and i redownloaded it again and now i am testing your rom. Can u add toggle flaslight to the statusbar?

Hmm. When you mean flashlight, do you mean the toggle in the notification menu? If so then head to settings, cyanogenmod settings, interface, notification power widget, widget buttons then select tick flashlight.. IF its greyed out, then there is not much I can do. You could try reinstalling the Tom again (without wiping) and give that a shot. Just to clarify, this is a common problem..

Its just there. If it bothers you, I will take it out in the next update..

The pure performance script already consists the parts of adrenaline engine & supercharger. No need to include it again along with the pure performances script.

I install pure and it slides very well .... by cons I would have liked that carecteres (parameters) are smaller! I change density but does not work? Is it possible??

To be honest this rom is a mess. I'm using it 4 days ago. Since the 2nd day it reboots (mostly when i try to use wifi), and it laggs a lot. If u don't put any speed tweaks in it, would be easier to make a cm7 ics theme than this rom. Torch in statusbar doesn't work (I know its a common problem but most of the developers could solve this problem for ex. cyanlightspeed). U should consider getting more into rom development than the theming stuff (and just to put in some apps..). No offense, I follow your work since the s5830i, these are just mine feedback

Can you please make the background tiles full black? ( screnshot # 2) And also settings bar , and get rid of that glowing effect from volume slider? ( screenshot #5) In rest....... all we could really want from this beautiful rom is some stamped white icons Good Job This and Vanir rom deserves to be fully blacked out ( pre-themed)

GCC 4.8. Performance is like CM. You can overclock cpu and gpu if it's not satisfaction you.

Can you use Sabermod 4.8-4.9 for the next build? With that toolchain rom is a little more responsive.

@gianfrinico: i can't add/remove features. Darkcm Team can do it. I only compiled from sources to our device.

For me MTP work, maybe try off debugging on developers options

Thanks for the answer. Btw I can not see the screenshot at all on the OP. Maybe the picture is formatted other than JPG or PNG I guess. (I just opened my laptop. Tonight I was able to see some of the sightings screenshot.) Therefore I have to ask it directly here. By the way thanks for the explanation.

I think that this build is based on cm11 cooper release (R13) from androidarmv6, if I'm not wrong.
Yes, Mardon's CM11 is heavily modded (Changed many stuff), but this ROM is much more lightweight than Mardon's. As you can see from the change log, OP removed some of the junk stuff that I will certainly remove from every CM11 build I've flashed. OP even add some tweaks in build.prop
And so, this CM11 is running smoothly with Google Play Services installed, unlike other CM11 builds. Others even get stuck when there's an incoming call with no GAPPS installed.
Love this CM11 very much, except the WiFi intermittent problem, seems like every cooper's CM11 build have this prob.

The touch focus is not a problem, but it was disabled in the repo by armv6 team

I tried "INT2EXT" on a fresh install, it is not working now.

Hi, as I say in a Q&A cooper post, download link for the latest and the best cm11-*cooper*androidarmv6 rom is dead. I would like to switch to your Linaro rom, but I do not want to install Gapps.
armv6team provide gapps in a separate package. Is there a way for you to provide it in the same way ? I would like to install Linaro on my cooper, but I'm very very afraid about Gapps, so I cannot.
