So I tried using the s4 i9500 boot sound to get rid of the chinese boot sound of my dual sim note 3, and it worked! My question now is if someone has tried using the boot screen say from a snapdragon s4 to a snapdragon note 3. Just want to check if someone has a similar experience...

hi
I have a simple yet a profound question that affects the note 3 particularly the n9002 note 3 owners
hate the Chinese keyboard on it and google android keyboard is not cutting it for me..
im trying to get the enlgish Samsung keyboard of note 3 on my device
the question is will flashing the kernel from a n9005 (same processor soc 800) on to my device screw up anything particularly the dual sim part or will it not be affected ?
and the biggest question .. will it brick my device or not ?????
if not then I am willing to go ahead and just try flashing a n9005 kernel on the device
thanks and experts plz chime in here !

Hello everyone,
My Friend has a Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900, which he bought from NewYork. He got it rooted and region unlocked in order to use it in India. It is on Android 4.4.2. Now the problem is that ,its touch response is not good(very very bad).Sometimes touches work ,sometimes they dont. Tested touch with a Multitouch app and found that it doesnot recognize all the touches and (touch) ghosting also occurs. Is there something that i can do ? or should i get it repaired from a Samsung Service Center(No Warranty)? Should flashing a new ROM works ?
A general doubt for me is whether i could flash Russian /Indian Lollipop ROM on this device, which is region unlocked and rooted?
Thanks in Advance.
Looks like hardware issue ?

Thank you
Another question, can I flash different region ROM on Note 3, if so suggest me a ROM stock, and can I flash lollipop Indian region ROM.?
I'm not so much into it... You can flash other region ROMs too I guess... Not sure though as there are variants!

Hey guys, So i'm finally switching my galaxy S4 to note 3 today, I'm located in canada
My S4 was tmobile version and I loved using different custom roms. However, I can't seem to find a forum for Note 3 rogers, or other models. Sm-n900w8 is the model #.
I'm with android for the custom roms if I can't install it there's no point in buying it. So I was wondering, if I get a rogers note 3 can I still install custom roms, root it and all??
Seems no one has responded. The short answer is yes. Just search the SM-N900W8 in the forums. I have the same phone and have Tamesek's CM12 etc.
My A40 has been crap recently (can't install ROMS etc.) And the newest note phone that has a simple bootloader is the Note 4 I have a Note 3 and the experience is great on it. So should I get a Note 4?

It's a good phone but:
as there are many posts about emmc failure of these devices I wouldn't have bought it knowing that in advance.
You never know when it happens and have no chance to avoid it.
If you can get it cheap, it might still be worth it as some guys offer repairing/resoldering it.
Don't take N910V Verizon, as these are very hard to flash TWRP/custom ROM onto it.
N910C with Exynos CPU are said to be faster than N910F Snapdragon but not that well supported with custom ROMs.
And titanium back but I don't know what to do with most of it is there a system that I can use that will give me all the cool stuff and ugrade my phone to the most current firmware possiblecould someone please guide me teach Me i want some cool SHI!!!!!!..THANKS
To upgrade a phone's Android it's required that
Phone's bootloader can get unlocked
A Custom Recovery suitable to the phone is available
A Custom Android ROM suitable to the phone is available
Chainfire is no longer used its well out of date .
N900T is not this forum .
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Following on from the success of the Galaxy Note 2, Samsung have managed to cram in a large amount of technology into the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Powered by a Quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm processor and 3GB RAM, the Note 3 is by no means a slouch. The display is 5.7" at 1920x1080 and 386ppi. The Note...
