Hi ive recently rooted my galaxy s4 and flashed the beanstalk 4.4 rom. My storage space is now reaching its limit as i have a lot of apps downloaded. I noticed that in the app manager there is no option to move a particular app to the external sd card as the stock firmware does. Is there any way i can move user apps downloaded from the playstore without switching back to stock firmware?

No there is no option for that but what I do is use folder mount. The free version only lets you move 3 apps. But if you have 3 big games installed taking up all your space like me it will work good enough for you. I have modern combat 4, gta San Andreas, and gangstar that take up about 6 gb . It will tell you your biggest apps. Just unmount them when your not using them

Use the apps analyser option and let it tell you your biggest apps. Then click what you want to move and let it out it where it wants to. Mount and unmount the games when you want to play them. The 6.3 gb of game data on my external would be on my internal without folder mount

How to move applications & games data to external SD card on Samsung Galaxy S3?
I take my Samsung Galaxy S3 as example. It should work on rooted Android phone with external micro SD card.
Old Gameloft games data are stored at /mnt/sdcard/
However, latest Gameloft games data are stored at /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/ just like other Android applications and games.
With Directory Bind, you can move one folder by one folder to external storage at /mnt/extSdCard/
I won’t move all applications and games data in Android/data folder to external micro SD card because it is much slower compare to internal memory.
Therefore, I only move those unimportant or less frequent used applications and games to external storage with Directory Bind.

You should show step by step how to use it. And better post at app section.

Hey Everyone!
Today I flashed SHOstock via SafeStrap v3.71 (MK2). I had a lot of internal storage. However, after flashing the ROM to rom-slot-1, I get a persistent message on the notification panel stating that "storage space is running low".
Storage apps in the app store say that I have 8.1 GB of internal storage, but the phone's storage settings states that I only have 145 MB of available space.
14.44 GB is being devoted to system memory which seems like an incredibly high amount.
Could someone explain what is going on and how I could rectify this issue?
Thank you in advance!
16gb phones have around 9.5 useable and 32gb phones have 22gb or so. Nothing we can do.

I understand that, however I have more free space than the rom in safestrap is showing. That is the problem.
When I open storage with the slot1 rom, this is what I see:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
However, this is how much space I should have:
Don't you adjust the size of it when you create a rom slot? Whatever the slot size that you create will depend on what your free space will be. That is my understanding anyway.

Here is a SS from Link2sd.

go through all your apps in link2sd and click create link and then link everything to your 2nd partition
you may have to uninstall a few apps first if it comes up not enough storage and then once you have linked your apps you can install them again
if you have already linked apps then you must have an app that uses a hell of a lot of data - you can see what app that could be if you arrange apps in order of data use and then clear data of that app (note any saved settings/progress and so on within the app will be lost)
sometimes some apps misbehave after linking....specially software update thing:what:

The internal memory where user apps are installed is of /data partition.
So freeing up /system partiton is useless...instead u need to b concerned with freeing up /data partition(which is sufficiently free...I guess)
However, extra apps or scripts in /system partition CAN fill up RAM btw:sly:

Hi
Is it possible to fully move installed apps to external SD card on Marshmallow ROM? In the past I was using Directory Bind app to do it and it was working ok but on Marshmallow its not working. Is there any solution to do that? I have read about Adaptive Storage feature being implemented on Marshmallow android but I dont see that option on my phone (under Settings-Storage). Is there a way to turn it on somehow? Or if not is another way to do it? I also heard about creating two partitions (fat and ext) on external SD card and using app like Link2SD but is it confirmed working? Whats the best way to do it?
Looks like you can go into each individual app from Application Manager, then go to Storage, and it gives the option to move the app to the External card
Nothing to do this for all apps that I can see though

Using built-in Application Manager doesnt move the WHOLE app and its files to external SD card. Some files stays in internal memory, usually the heaviest ones in obb folder. Tried to do that before moving some games this way but for example Hearthstone game despite being moved to external SD card stil keeps 800MB in internal memory. I want to move all that data to extSDcard.
well...
any luck of extending internal memory?

So Did You Recommend Me To Buy It Or Is There Any Issue Or A Better Choice ??
It's good enough, I mean technically all 16gb internals + big sd cards are good enough for moderate app usage and casual media.
I get around 7-8gb after a factory format, so after some social media apps like fb, messenger, whatsapp, instagram, twitter, etc. you might get around 5-6gb of space left. I used the remaining for app cache and 3 heavy games which takes 1-2gb each.
Get the 64gb version if you use too many apps and games or get a fast & spacious sd card and just link most apps to it.
