I have a problem with my galaxy note3 n900t. My menu and back key is not working when i touch them with my fingers but they work whit the s pen! Anyone with the same problem or a solution?

The phone was on the stock rom when the problem appeared... so i rooted the phone in Hope it would fix the problem but it didn't...

Hi guys im new here as u can see
I recently had flash my phone with samsung galaxy y not pro duos GT-B5512 firmware and now my cell is stuck in white screen and i can switch it on and can understand that its on coz i can hear login/boot sound but i cannot see anything.
and my volume keys too are change and im using from keyboard
the problem is i dont know how to flash it back since i cannot see boot menu
and the worst problem is my pc does not recognise my device any more a and i cannot get the wright port for flashing
CCould anyone be generous to kindly suggest me what should i try and do with it

The main thing I need to know is whether the phone is turning on or not?. If u can see anything on ur screen(even a blank one) then it means its booting

Yes sir i can switch it on But cannot see anything coz its of the screen
and im sure its on coz i can hear the sound
but im trying to get to boot menu and i just can remember any thing so im stuck

Sir i cannot see and plus mine is galaxy y pro duos (gt -b5512) my volume keys too are change with my keypads not anymore with volume rocker
and i think i can get into it but how can i reflash it where would i need to click to make it in download mode

If u dont figure out a way to open any of the modes then unfortunately you will have to give your phone for repairing. Or maybe make a usb jig..

how do i get it in download mode
Will i be able to flash in just the boot menu or do i need to click sumthing there like install or sumthing
But please clarify to me how to download/install new firmware in the mobile
Now im stuck in Setup connection

SOLVED
Woooohoooooo Flashed it and now its working after many tries Damn i love XDA-developers
and this is what i did i first change the port but not working then i took out the cable and plug it back and saw that the port was change to default and i was surprise and then i hit start
and Wooooooo it started with any problem

but one thing dude i cannot get on boot menu
|If i do there there's two option ie., up volume to download and down volume to reboot
i cannot see anymore wife cache and factory reset and update
but will try to fix this too soon

Flash back to stock ROM using ODIN, that should solve your issue.

if after flashing stock rom via odin the keys are still not working then its hardware issue - take to a repair shop if you cant diagnose and replace parts yourself

Go to repair shop and replace them, till then use a button savior app

Hey all, my friend's i9500 has a big issue, back and menu buttons don't work (they don't even glow, they're like 'shutdown'), only key that works is home button.
He is on CM11, tried with stock ROM but they don't seem to work either, any fix or help? thanks guys :fingers-crossed:

Try to install any othey keyboard like THIS.
activate the installed keyboard.
maybe then ur button works.

You need the one for i9505 - ie jflte... it's linked in the relevant thread
I've done that but when i reboot pressing the three buttons & releasing it doesn't go into recovery. Maybe i'm releasing at the wrong time. What is the correct procedure. ?

3 buttons? You only need volume up and power...home key is irrelevant
