1st for wich Firmware you need stock recovery ? (Example: P6800XXLA4_CSC_XEZ)
2nd if you are not familiar with adb commands then its recommend for you to flash the complete stock Firmware since it dont wipe your device

F320k - New rom needed - Newbie

I live in the UK and have just purchased a LG G2 (F320K) from Korea with the SD port.
I want to remove the Korean firmware(rom) and replace it with an english one but i dont want to leave the phone rooted as i want to use the Barclays bank app and i still want to receive OTA updates.
Can anyone point me in the right direction and which firmware (rom) to use?
I will need the full instructions on how to root and then unroot please
I want to use standard firmware and not custom ones please

I don't really know what you need to do, your device does not seem to be one of the common versions of the G2, but anyway, this is definitely the wrong subforum, maybe one of the mods can move this thread to Q&A .

Nobody prepare new rom for i9500. S4 i9500 users wants more rom than from current ! If we give the name: @wanam go away from S4 he doesnt
updating his rom. @>>Arrow<< doesnt continuening his rom. Everybody says ''Dont ask for ETA's'' Well, no one that does not make an effort! Why should not I ask? Please give me information about this topic! Everyone has purchased this device. Developer support is minimal. Has become the stepchild of a phone-treated

No need to be mad. Everyone knew that the i9505 will have more development. Respect the devs and their work. You have no right to be so disrespectfull. Please report this thread and close it.

As has been mentioned , please have a little more respect for those that are actually developing.
This is a development site.
All the information is available to make your own ROM ,if you want.

Lately I've seen the general section being overloaded with questions and problems. I also see many threads appearing about rooting and the KitKat update.

As of now: Sony has not stated or confirmed anything. So either be quiet or come with some proof!

Here you can ask almost anything! Also requests and are placed here (sometimes in the apps and themes section)
Do not open any threads, guides or even collections for rooting the 4.3 update we currently have! There is no way we can root it as of now.. Please dont open the same "fake" guide for rooting the 4.3 update.
If you want to root (on lockedbootloader)
I can tell:
- Downgrade back to 4.1.2 via flashtool (see my guide in signature)

- Install CWM using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649923
- Install any custom 4.3 ROM
- Done!

Your thread title is very unnoticeable to a new user having a problem he doesnt understand and he is surely going to miss this. If its a sticky then it might be more obvious. I see your intention is good though, but it might not make much difference.

I have seen the new version of TWRP (3.1.0)
My question is the next.-
To install nougat it is necessary this version, since I have seen and it is somewhat tedious to install the new version of twrp, and it gives me much laziness.
I just want to know if I can Install it with the old version (3.0.0-2) :good:
