Use the search... the are thousands of tutorials out there in the forum.
But the easiest way is the most common, root your tablet, install a custom recovery and via the custom recovery flash the custom rom .zip file

You might want to read the hundreds of people that flash their tablets and screw them up first.

All the custom roms don't have a bootloader. Just flash away.

If you flash a custom rom true the recovery, then nothing can go wrong. Just make a nandroid backup in case it doesn't work and you want to go back.
The status 7 error fix
YOU SHOULD ALREADY HAVE PREVIOUS CWM FLASHED BEFORE FLASHING THIS.
http://goo.im/devs/pawitp/i9082_cm11.0/recovery_20131210.tar
Download this file of CWM and flash rom with this version of CWM and status 7 error wont show up.
You will have to flash this file using ODIN (in PDA)

Good afternoon
I am from Brazil and I love my Galaxy S4 with android 4.3 it is a sensational phone. On the other hand I lost some files in it and I have been digging up ways to recover them. One way was through Dr.Fone. which required root for android 4.3, and I could not find any other solution. I was looking for a trouble free solution without root, but my best shot until now was Dr.Fone.
Do I have to root to recover those files?
Is there anyway I can recover those files without root??
If I have to root how do I do it?
I am newbie so sorry if I seem retard.

To recover deleted files using a mobile app, you probably will need root. There are good guides available on how to root your device. Start by looking here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4
But is there any solution even using the PC if necessary without root?

Hey, does anyone know how to root i9506 cause I can't find any I always see i9505. If anyone can link me to it or tell me how to do it, it will much appreciated. Thanks
Have you tried the method recommended for the i9505? CF-Autoroot. Worth a shot.
Have you tried to look in the i9506 forum here?
I know i have, and i'm rooted!
Dont want to take any chances with using the i9505 method.

Thanks but they only have the file. Do I just boot into download mode and download the root zip from there? Or is there something I'm missing?

You will loose root if you flash stock ROM, but it can re-root easy using the same method you did in 1st place.

Using Mobile Odin, you won't have to reroot again. Just download firmware to your internal/external memory, then flash it directly from your phone
