I am stucked on the bootlogo even when I want to enter recovery mod.
I can enter odin mode but odin doesn't see my phone.
How to unbrick my phone.
My Odin is downloaded from web
can u give me one that u think is functional?
I need my phone back urgent!
Please help me..
Odin dosen't detect your phone because you don't have the drivers installed. In doky73's stock firmware thread (in the dev section), there's a link in the 2nd post for the drivers.
Why don't you guys ever search?

It is NOT a odin split package, you cant flash it through ODIN. Its a KIES package, try using kies to restore, but I dont think it will work.
You need to create a odin split package using SplitFUS tool by doky. This thread has the info on how to do it:

Search for the 4.4 (NAE) full .tar - it's here in the forums.
Flash that via PC Odin and you'll have a working 4.4 phone. If you want root you can use CF-Autoroot (make sure to grab the latest!) Thread is here too.
Then do some reading, searching and more reading. All your answers are here, really.
You're 'boot' is NOT damaged.
Just search read and you'll be fine.

Use the one from Sammobile as Daniel suggested.
But really, searching for the .tar - it's got it's on thread in the development sections http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663619
If you couldn't find it I'd suggest practice doing some more searching.
You should be good to go.
Good luck.

VZW Samsung Galaxy S5 Recovery

Greetings,
I am embarrassed to say I have messed up my S5
I was in Safestrap and evidently formatted an incorrect partition
As a result, it just boot loops to the first splash screen
I have unsuccessfully tried to Odin back to a custom image...except that particular .tar/process is for the developer variety.
Is there any way to get SafeStrap back on or recover through Odin?
My tail is between my legs!
Best,
Landlocked
First....please don't post questions in the Dev section.
Second : grab the tar from here and flash in ODIN. That will restore you back to stock. At least it will be working again.

Howdy! Please post in the correct sections. There's a whole section devoted to questions & the section you posted in (development) has specific rules about what is acceptable. Basically, if you didn't "create it" don't post in development.
Moved the thread to Q&A where it belongs, thanks!

put your phone in developer mode.
connect to computer (drivers should be installed).
open odin put the file file which has name APxxxxx in ap section and follow the same for the rest . For csc put either one (csc or home_csc) then click start.
should work fine....

Since you got your answer, can you delete your thread from this section?
If you are still unsure visit the general discussion guide, or go to samsmobile search firmware, download your models firmware and flash via odin - instruction are also found there.

You might want to check out the rules for posting in the development section. The proper section to post a question in is:

Your thread will be moved there shortly.
