So, I am on the vs980 and I envy some of the quickwindow apps and widgets for the homescreen that come with the G Flex. I tried some of the ports which arent bad but I prefer the normal stock over it as not all the features work perfectly and there are some bugs. I then tried to transfer files between roms in an attempt to get them. I managed to get the digital clock widget I wanted but now clock/alarm force closes once you click the clock. Also, the clock quick window widget seems to have died even after reboots claiming "couldnt add widget".
So does anyone know the proper files to transfer the clock widgets for both homescreen and quickwindow from the g flex to the g2, and I cant seem to find the wallpapers in the flex roms either so the wallpapers from it would be great too.

After installing Launcher Pro and using it for a while I love it, but I can`t seem to find any of my motorola/blur widgets anymore. They are in neither the widgets list, nor the launcher pro widgets list. I`ve done some googling around and have seen people complaining that some of the widgets don`t resize properly (or didn`t when the forum threads I found were made) but I can`t seem to find them at all.
Looked around a bit and did some other searching but all the results I`ve found have been dealing with problems resizing/widgets not rendering properly after some amount of time.
Running a rooted bell atrix with 2.3.4.
Any idea what`s going on?
like HTC widgets, you cannot use motorola widgets on a different launcher. you will have to go back to the default homescreen to use them.
which moto widget were you trying to use? They were all easily replaceable with better widgets such as Android Pro Widgets
the motorola works for me on launcherpro; the only widget that doesn't work is the world clock (but it works on adw)
the motorola widgets will be found under just "widgets" instead of a separate motorola/blur category.

I love the look of the LG Flex icons, and I love the functionality of Nova Launcher. Unfortunately, unless I can find an LG Flex Icon Pack somewhere, it doesn't appear that I can have both. There is an LG Flex theme for Solo Launcher on the Play Store, but Nova won't recognize it. I've tried getting used to the stock launcher so I can use the Flex icons, and while the stock launcher really is terrific I'm so used to the customizations offered in Nova that I can't seem to live without it. Does anyone by any chance know where I can find the LG Flex icons?
does anyone else have this problem with their note 4? I can't get widgets to show up, it isn't all of them but many of them don't. The ones that come with phone work but like I can't download a weather app and have it's widget show up but the default one with phone works. Same with clocks and other apps (doesn't seem consistent).
I recently got an LG G2. With my old phones the weather widgets the size was 4 x 2 or 4 x 1. With the G2 the way I want my widget on my home screen it needs to be (5 x whatever). The problem is I like the stock weather app is just does not update the weather based on the location. I've looked at some other weather apps but they all have a widget size of like (4 x whatever). Any ideas on a good weather app that can support a (5 x whatever) widget size?
Yahoo weather just resize the widget after putting it on ure homescreen (long press )
I found the app 1Weather that seems to work good for me so far
I'm not a big fan of the stock weather widget so I got this one that is for the G2.
·Go to System>App and backup LgWeather.apk and LgWeatherTheme.apk.
·Move both of these new ones to System>App
·Set permissions rw r r on both.
·Reboot
·Clear data on Weather and Weather Platform under All Settings>Apps
(Allows you to set auto update, otherwise Weather settings will fc)
·Use G3 Tweakbox to change grid size to 7x5 if you want it to stretch across entire screen.

I have tested this on the V410 deodexed. It should work on others, but have not tested.
