Hello all,
I generally lurk the forums so this is my first post
I've recently reflashed to Xylon from Paranoid Android rom on my Nexus 4 Mako.
Problem being, i was used to having an option to set a delay between notifications so that when my phone synced particular apps, i wouldn't have my phone going off with "nek minnut" 5 times in rapid succession.
Just wandering if there was an app that mimics this? i've searched everywhere to no avail (mostly due to the large bloat of troubleshooting threads with similiar titles)
Thanks!
Josh
TLDR - Is there an app for setting a delay between notifications like in PA
I keep looking for a way to disable the knock on feature with KitKat based ROMs, but haven't found a way yet. I'm running SlimKat on a LS980 right now, but none of the other ROMs have had the option to disable the knock on feature.
It is great to have until I try running with the phone or using it to do manual work while listening to music. It keeps changing songs, opening websites from Google now, rearranging my home screen apps, and sometimes managing to call people.
Does any one know a easy way (or stable ROM) to have the ability to deactivate knock on? I'd love to be able to turn it on and off easily like WiFi or Bluetooth so when I need the feature I can have it, but when I don't it isn't a pain.

you should specify you want a solution for aosp based kitkat because on stock(the lg themed one that came with the phone) you can go to settings>gestures and turn it off/if the proximity sensor is covered it doesn't allow knock on to work to prevent it from unlocking while in pockets and stuff
BUMP!
I'd like to know as well! The screen keeps coming on while in my pocket. What file/code/apk/ect is responsible for Knock-On?
I'm running AOSP C-ROM 7.1.

It is mainly kernel which is in charge of knock on so unless you know how to create kernel there isn't much you can do
Sent from my PIKACHU powered LG G2 D800
Access the hidden menu on your phone and disable knock on
EDIT: that would be for stock lg rom, but you could still try with your aosp kk rom

hi,
I bought this phone from one week and there was already the paranoid ROM based on android 4.4.
The Rom works very well no lags etc. just the camera quality seems not too good (a lot of noise).
Anyway my problem is the "heads up notifications" like in lollipop... i get this kind of notification on whatsapp, calls, and specially every time that i launch the keyboard.. i hate this notifications! :crying:
There is a way for delete these notifications?
Thanks
Hello Everyone,
I'd like to know if there is any way I could disable audio ducking on nexus 6p or any stock rom .. like xposed module or something
This feature has been always there in COS as in the attachment
Thanks

I miss this feature, it used to be on cm7 way back, not site why they did away with it. Bump for personal interest, I'd definitely buy a beer or two for whoever makes this possible
Does anybody know if there's a way to re-enable the option to answer from lockscreen to notification without the need to insert the pin? it was absolutely amazing and i do not know why they removed it in ndp5 and the final N release.
Theres a way
Hey! I don't think there's an official fix other than buy a Pixel Phone. BUT you can install quick reply (chat heads) from the play store to reply from the lock screen. It's a good workaround until Nougat 7.1 is coming end of this year to the Nexus phones.
Works on One Plus 3 with Android 7.0 (Beta)
