The bottom of my N7 screen cracked but the device is still very usable. The bottom half inch will not respond to touch, but everything above that point works just fine! I'm hoping for a way to expand my navigation bar size, or bump it up to leave my screen blank under it.. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I have some $ in PayPal as a thanks. Any help as in a ROM that allows a Nav Bar Resize.. A way to move it to the top of my tablet screen... Some way I can put a google search bar under it or anything to waste that space. Thanks for ideas, hoping to save my N7 and keep it usable without having to rotate it everytime I need that portion of my screen!

I could have sworn I've seen navbar mods somewhere. You could always consider using PIE controls, however, if you want to remap them to the left/right screen edges.
Thanks for the quick reply. Pie Controls is a very useful work around for now. The app would be amazing if it let me choose exactly where on the screen I could pull up the navigation bar, but even without that option it is a great help!
I've seen some Mods but all of them seem to shrink the Bar, not enlarge it.
The reason I want to extend the stock navigation bar isn't just to be able to touch the buttons but it also pushes all opened apps, my home screen, etc up past that point that is cracked... So while playing a game or in my options menus I would still be able touch the bottom of my screen, just above the navigation bar (which I can't do now.) Basically, the top of the Bar is the bottom of my touch screen and it isn't high enough for me to use the entire screen =(

LMT Launcher is a pie control interface. It allows you to open from anywhere on the left or right and you can setup gestures as well with it to do the navbar functions. Look it up here on xda.

How can I use split screen option to get 2 apps available on side bar choices to equally share screen? I can get one app as a popup in the other but I cannot get them to share the screen equally, one on the top and one on the bottom? I know this should be easy but I must have a mental block or something. I just cannot seem to do it. Thanks for your help! I am stock vzw lollipop 5.0.
Never mind I finally got it to work.
So I just started having an issue where I go into my photos and do set as Nova Wallpaper. It then slowly brings up the wallpaper and I see the same thing every time. The top half is my wallpaper and the bottom half is black. When I set it it saves the same way on my screen. Anybody have this issue?
Update: when I go to share a link or add a pic it ends up with an all black screen and then I have to back out and try it again and it works.

Hi- this screen never appeared before and now it does -.- tried wiping factory resetting and this image wont go away from my homescreen. Idk what happened please help looked everywhere of how to remove this but no one has had this issue. This never appeared on stock until after i unlocked my bootloader and installed cm. Tried to use the repair assistant and its still there.
edit: idk why it does not show in my screenshots. here are some photos taken from my iphone... hard to show but there is a white line that is in the background of my homescreen. Shows an sms icon slightly transparent. Annoying **** to look at when I take pics on snapchat. As you can in google playstore and the snapchat photo a SMS icon appears behind the mic in play store and under the switch to facecam icon in snapchat. Does anyone know a fix??
I still have no idea what you are talking about.

lol. ok before on my screen it will be normal fine no graphical errors no visual glitches. pictures wont show it for some reason but if you had my phone in my hand it would show up as SMS icon at the top of my screen like right below the navi bar. Shows up in camera and on my snapchat. Never happened till now. Idk if my screen got messed up or if its the constant switching of roms etc that gave me that glitch. its like a white line that separates the navibar and the rest of the screen at the bottom shows a menu bar on the left corner and some icons. its very transparent under the homescreen display like if the stock rom overlapped
like it shows a small phone screen is under the home screen. in the background- get me?
It's screen burn in. It happens with amoled screens if they are left on a static image too long. You can try some burn in fix tools in the play store. That's why you don't see it in your screen shots it's a hardware problem.

thank you! do you recommend any that would work?
Anybody know what app or setting that causes this *EXTRA lock screen on my LG G6 (Android 7.0)? It just started 3 days ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
*After swiping UP from the bottom of the screen, it takes me to my normal/original lock screen.
EDIT : Appears that I am too 'green' to post a link to the screen shot. So, the look of said lock screen = Grey background, a digital clock and date in the middle (white text) and 2 question marks at the bottom (white text - - one big, the other is smaller) from which I have to swipe up from to close it.
Its surely an app you have installed recently, launcher or widget app, just uninstall for disable this

Did you ever figure this out? Something is doing this on my LG V30 now and I can't figure out what to get rid of.
