Take their advice when they say "use patch set 18". The latest ones really made recent apps unusable on m7att/manta, but then, it says so in the commit

After seeing many people attempting to make on of these, I finally decided to write a general one that can be used like any other View in your app, instead of attempting to modify the other open source ones which are tightly integrated into their parent app (like the one in Shush).

The build i made also behaves weirdly.. I cant root it, autorotate doesnt work like it should...
I'm looking for an explanation, and possibly a fix where I dont have to re-download the source, because i have really slow internet(dload speed is around 30kbps)...

Yeah sony, I would love to build my own linux kernal. Anyway, the question is - Can someone explain to me how can this be useful ? Is it better than custom roms or is it the exact same thing? Does it give any advantages for xperia users? I know this isn't exacly the newest thing but I don't understand really, are you using this for building roms ?
