Hi,
I bought unlocked HTC legend. If i root device, load custom rom or unroot,or load shipped rom,do i have to unlockit again? If the legend once unlocked does it means that is unlocked forever?
Thanks in advance
Once unlocked the phone will remain unlocked forever, even if you flash the rom in the future.
Hey guys, so I'm looking to get the Droid RAZR M for use on AT&T, but before I do that, I had a few questions.
1) What is the process for rooting + unlocking bands + unlocking bootloader? Mainly, should the bootloader be unlocked before performing the band unlock? Does it matter? I'm not used to having a Moto device with an unlockable bootloader.
2) Since I plan on buying the device used, I'm assuming the previous owner would have updated to the latest OTA. Is it still possible to unlock the bootloader with the latest OTA updates? I searched around and didn't see anything saying otherwise, but I figure I should ask anyways.
3) Are there any problems with UMTS/HSPA+ on AT&T? I ask because I currently have a Droid 2 Global and it's got some weird signal dropping issues when on HSPA (but not EDGE) so I wanted to make sure the RAZR M doesn't have any similar bugs.
Thanks in advance!

Rooting and unlocking the latest OTA update is pretty easy, especially now that there's the Razr M Utility. It's in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249773 and it handles rooting and unlocking the bootloader.

Ok, that's good to know. Thanks!
I understand that the Verizon and AT&T versions have them locked, but does anyone know if this is the case with T-Mobile?
Anyone know the answer to the OP's question?

Not sure what you are asking for. If your phone is unlocked, it should work on any network as long as the bands are compatible. (Ex. AT&T S4 wont work on Verizon or Sprint)
You can downgrade to NB1, but that wont help in terms of using on a different network. If you need to enable AWS, you may be out of luck. There is a method written in the general section, but people has posted that it does not work with 4.4. which is your version of android.
I wonder if it is possible to have TouchWiz for Android Lollipop S4 i337?
In advance thanks
Unless you're lucky enough to have one with a unlocked bootloader or one that can use the loki exploit, you'll have to wait until AT&T releases it.
