No Sim Card Error after upgrade... - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Set the scene - was running a custom 4.3 rom, flashed Stock 4.3 rom and got everything working. During the day I kept getting a No SIM card error.... If I remove the SIM card and reinsert it was fine or if I rebooted my phone it was fine - but only for an hour or so. It got worse and more frequent as the day went by....
Unfortunately I can't get it to work at all now - permenant No SIM card!!!
When I got home I flashed an even newer 4.3 firmware from samfirmware for the UK (BTU version I'm unlocked) - baseband I9505XXUENA4 and the same for the build. I was hoping this may fix my issue, but NO still the same!!!
It's not the SIM card as it works in my Note2 and I think it must be software related somewhere as it only started happening after my flashing of stock etc yesterday....
Anyone have any ideas of what it could be???
• Do I need to flash a csc file or a different modem???
• Would going back to 4.2 help (I know this will void KNOX but don't care as my phone is useless as is)
Just some help would really be appreciated!!!

My s5360L resets on standby

Hi, I need some help please. I have a S5360L that was bought to me by a friend in Venezuela about 2 months ago and since the beginning it restarts it self but always in standby, it never has restarted while I'm working on it, playing or whatever. It works flawlessly except for that problem so I was thinking maybe is a software problem. I did a hard reset and also try it without the sd card but still the same. Now it restarts about 3 times a day, perhaps a bit more than before. If you can help me please I will appreciate your help.
It's Unbranded.
Android version: 2.3.6
Band base version: s5360LUHKJ2
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #1
Compilation number: GINGERBREAD.UHKJ2
Can you Install another ROM? if occurs on other rom,its a hardware problem
Try to reflash stock rom via odin....
Press thanks if i helped u in anyway..
Well I was reading around the site other users experiences and I figured this is the next thing I could do, try reinstalling the stock rom, despite my current rom seems to be the last official samsung rom for the s5360L. But I don't wannted to do it without ask first, I'm a newbie and the last thing I want to do is brick my phone. I think the odin rom I need is "S5360L_UHKJ2_UUBKJ1_UHKJ2_by_Doky.zip", I downloaded earlier to be ready, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks
Almost done
Well let me tell you what I've been doing ...
I flashed S5360L_UHKJ2_UUBKJ1_UHKJ2_by_Doky which was the stock ROM but no change, so I give it a try with S5360_DXLC1_OLBLA1_DXLC1_by_Doky and guest what, it stops reseting. But with that came another issue, at first I thought I had no signal at all, and it was most of the time, but then I realize at moments I had a bit of signal in some places but that was it.
I figure it's because it's a ROM meant for Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam).
Then I flashed stock ROM S5360L_UHKJ2_UUBKJ1_UHKJ2 again, the signal went back to normal, but it restarted again I don't know why. So I was thinking maybe I could flash the DXLC1 ROM with the CSC from the other ROM which is from my region. But I don't know if they are compatible, in case they don't, could you please tell me which ROM can I mix with my CSC region so I can get my phone fully working.
I appreciate your help. Thanks
I need suggestions
Well, I decided to flash the DXLC1 with the UUBKJ1 CSC but I still have no signal, so I flash the DXLC1 with the UUBKJ1 CSC and the UHKJ2 MODEM and signal back to normal, so I had the hope I would solved my problem but it restarts again, it seems that the problem comes with the MODEM from my region, then I tried flash the S5360L_UHKL1_CHLKL1_UHKL1 ROM which has the same MODEM but more recently (dec 2011) and it keeps restarting,
I don't know what else to try, I suppose ROMs different from UH region will not make my network fully work since with DXLC1 ROM I had 1 bar occasionally. I have 2G only for what it's worth.
Please I need some help here ...
Solved
Well guys I'm happy to tell you that I flashed S5360B_UTLC2_ZTOLC1_UTLC1_by_Doky from Brasil and it worked, seems baseband from Brasil also work for my region, and this one doesn't get my phone restarted, so finally I have my phone working as it should. Although I don't know why UHKJ2 baseband which supposed to be for my region make my phone restart itself.
Anyway I'm glad I could solved my problem somehow ...
Thanks anyway.

[Q] Problem's flashing s4 back to 4.2.2

Hi
New XDA user here with a bit of a problem.
I recently flashed my Galaxy S$ which is on telstra (Aus User here) to 4.3 to check it out, and after a bit
tried to go back to 4.2.2 wich what I've downloaded from sam mobile, but when I went back to the latest
version it stops flashing through ODIN after aboot.
I have tried flashing the very first firmware release on sam mobil with no luck, as the phone does except it but
doesn't seem to recognize my sd card OR have the ability to turn wifi on. Even through Kies it fails updating.
I do have the proper firmware for my phone,
Any help?

Problem flashing to stock firmware

I have a Galaxy S4 Canadian version (Sgh-i337m) with Bell.
It was sent to Samsung to be repaired because the sim card stopped reading. They replaced the pcb and it was working when I got it back, but when I flashed to Bobcat rom v5.1 and it worked, but the sim card stopped reading 1 hour later, so I flashed back to stock 4.2 and the sim card worked, but the sound stopped working from my speakers, and wifi stopped working, so I flashed back to bobcat v5.1 and the wifi works again, but the sound still doesn't work. Flashed back to stock 4.2.2 and wifi stopped, along with sound again. And everytime I boot it says something about forcing kernel, or warrant bit: kernel.
this time I flashed it to the official stock firmware latest 4.4.2 and still no sound, and its slow, and it says Device Status: Custom
I flashed the phone with odin, and with the OFFICIAL firmware for my phone and bell carrier. Can someone explain the sound, and possibly the sim card issue (i also got a new sim card)
the warrant bit thing is probably caused by the non stock kernel that came with bobcat. also if you're jumping back and forth from kk to jellybean you might be having a mismatch in baseband. 422 would have MG1 while 442 is NC1.

No Sim even after flashing stock. Assistance required.

Hi all, I'm pretty experienced with flashing roms but I've run into a problem I cannot fix.
I bought a Korean version F320L and it came with stock 4.4.2. I rooted and then tried a few roms. Moved back to my saved stock rom because of battery life. As my signal wasn't great I looked for an updated radio. I found cloudyfa's modified baseband and it was a newer baseband than my current model. I flashed it and the phone rebooted normally but found no SIM card.
I've tried a number of fixes:
1. Factory reset - nothing
2. Restore stock backup - nothing (I hadn't saved the radio.img - will next time)
3. Flashing to stock, first a Kitkat rom (Korea LG U+ KitKat_F320L21P_00.kdz) then a Jelly Bean rom (LG U+ F320L11G_00.kdz)
Still always the same, no sim cards recognised (I've tried a few different ones that work in other phones).
Can anyone offer help or insights?

So I've been trying everything, I restored my EFS partition backup and used the LG Mobile Tool to reflash. Again the exact same problems. All I can guess is that flashing cloudyfa's modified kernel whilst on stock rom tripped some kind of sim/country lock, but I find no mention of such a mechanism anywhere on the web.
:crying: some help or ideas would be appreciated.
