If your phone rebooted after you unlocked your boot loader, everything should be fine. If you also flashed CWM, you've got the touch version which is fine. Your phone will not get bricked if you reboot to recovery using the .bat file. If you've followed the guide correctly, that is.

Hello everyone. I've been reading about CM7 and find this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257574&highlight=cm7+no+nightly
So i started to do the step by step and i'm stucked in the 3rd step "current rom backup" when i see" android recovery" and press volume up It says " failed to boot 2 starting rsd", and nothing happens. I've to take the battery Out and everything runs normal.
Any ideas?
Sorry about my english thanks!

i'd unistall cwm from aplications, but it still the same.
cwm was flashed, is there a way to unflash it?
I would use fastboot and reinstall romracers recovery
If you flash CWM recovery you need to unlock your bootloader.
I had the same problem, unlocking it fixed it.
Since this gets asked every other day, here is a more complete explanation.
A locked bootlloader verifies that the recovery partition is correctly signed by Moto.
The CWM does not have this signature. So when you flashed that, the bootloader tosses the error that recovery will not load.
Either:
Follow instructions elsewhere to unlock your bootloader
or
Flash back to a stock recovery.
This same thing could happen if you flash a ROM that changes the kernel, boot partition or partition table (to a non moto signed one) to a device with a locked bootloader. That is why some ROMs require an unlocked bootloader and some do not. The system partition is not signed, so much can be safely changed w/o unlocking. A recovery or kernel can not use custom versions w/o unlocking.

I used the afterota tool to install ics bootloader and twrp 2.1.3 recovery. I have tried flashing Acer_AV041_A500_1.054.00_WW_GEN1-DEODEXED-FULLROOT.zip. It says it flashed but when I try to boot it never gets past the screen that says acer. Can anyone point me to a guide that can help me get it booting properly?

Found the problem. Although I thought I flashed the ICS bootloader, I must have still been on the HC bootloader. I reflashed the ROM along with the HC kernel, and it booted up.
Hello,
I Have a German LG G2 D802 from Vodafone.
It is Rooted and any rooted app works fine,
the first thing i realized is that i got no questions from SU for Root Access from any app but they are defenetly have them.
Then i tryed to flash a boot animation from TWRP, because i have a Vodafone boot animation.
Its flashing something but nothing changes, still the VF animation.
Today i tryed flashing the Multiwindow, but its the same.
What is wrong with my G2?

Smilar problem
Hi!
I have the Lg optimus l5 II (E460) and i can't boot into recovery. I have tried ROM manager, and it started download, flashed the recovery and turned off. THEN, it showed the android logo which i will include in attachment.
I thought i had bricked the phone or something like that. but i removed the battery and started it again and it booted normally. I guess that it can't boot into recovery. Then, i tried unlocking bootloader and the same happened again. I have no idea what to do, because i want to go to recovery and install CyanogenMod.
I know that there isn't any CWM for lg l5 II, but i tried with CWM for lg l5, because they are smilar. Do i did wrong??
Do anyone has any idea why i can't boot into recovery?
btw, my phone is rooted with chinese tool and i tested it with root checker and it confirmed root.
(sorry for my bad english)

No way for you with locked bootloader.
LG is a fuc..ng manufacturer.
Our phone has not got usable recovery.
We can't install CWM or TWRP yet.
MTK is a sh.t processor.
We waitng for a method to unlock LG E460.
I have not found a way to be...
Verizon LG G2
Rooted
Installed TWRP
Without thinking (doink) tried to install the latest OTA.
OTA failed.
Now I cannot reboot into TWRP.
Installed ClockwordMOD and installed its own custom recovery. Still won't boot into any custom recovery.
Phone works fine other than that.
How can I get back into custom reccovery?
Note: When I turn phone off and try to reboot into custom recovery it takes me to the "reset" screen.. and then IT RESETS the phone.
When I try to boot into recovery from Clockwork or TWRP app it gives me the android robot with the open tummy and red triangle.

The OTA update installed the KitKat bootloader, which hasn't been hacked for custom recovery yet.
Use this to downgrade the only the bootloader and install custom recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2715496
You have to root frist. You can use IORoot25 to root the KitKat rom that you have now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48709232

Ok.
The KITKAT rom didn't install properly..
Phone says 4.2.2
Super user and apps that need root to work are working properly. Looks like the bootloader is the only thing that got hit.

Oh. Not sure if AutoRec works if you are still on 4.2.2. Sorry bout that.
If it doesn't work, you can always just manually flash the complete firmware using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476. Surest way to get back from failed flashes. You can flash the full 4.2.2 or 4.4.2 KDZ and then start over again. That method wipes everything though.

HELP
I am screwed here.
#1. Tried the "unbrick stock" solution. Can NOT get it to work. I tried it all 3 ways given and it gets to the LG driver start... and then it says I am up to date. I tried to change the country, the language, upgrade recovery, can NOT get it to work.
#2. I can get TWRP to load. But I can't get my computer to recognize my phone so I can move a rom over
#3. I can't get ADB to recognize my phone.
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

save yourself the hassle flash stock 4.4.2 KK, use IORoot25 to root and then use Autorec to install Custom recovery.
Time needed 1 hour.
