First CM9 alpha (Android 4.0) was released for Spica!

Hi. It's enough fast for me. Background apps (for example launcher) sometimes close themselves (without any error) while I'm surfing on the net because of low memory. But I think that's not important because I don't surf on internet with spica.
I don't get any errors or something. I can say that it's faster than 2.2.
UI is almost very smooth.
Bugs: Camera doesn't work because it's first alpha release (samdroid developers are working on it). Videos can't be played for now. When you connect spica to pc, you can't see its sd card.
Bad point: Battery can finish in only a day if you play too much and use wifi. Maybe using a task killer makes it go longer.
4.0 has only one rom for spica. It's cm9. I installed 2.3 first but I wanted a change of phone. Then I installed 4.0 and I'm using it with no real bugs. New ICS animations runs smoothly. tom3q's openFIMG graphic driver is used in this room. It's smoother than stock one although it's not completed yet.
I loved UI. Pm me if you have spica and want to try it so I can help. You have root?

What's wrong with xda? I can't send pms using computer but I can do it using Tapatalk app from my phone!
If you try to contact me and sent me a mail and I didn't answer you in 2 days, check your "sent mails" folder to see if they are really sent. Use tapatalk app if you couldn't send.

[Q] MIUI features on CM7

I'm planning to move from MIUI to CM7.2 but i really like MIUI's statusbar mods (battery bar, transparency, centered clock, hiding icons/carrier etc) and the volume button music control. Are these mods available for CM as well?
Also is there any setting to disable 'Fast Charge' mode like in some CM9 builds? I hate the slowdown during charging because of this.

i think all are available except the battery bar. if you are so into miui, why don't you try WIUI it has all the features of cm7 into MIUI.

Hey volume music control is in cm7 and for the miui charge bar exicsts a really nice app

I meant the links for the mods not cm7
Tried searching but lots of abandoned threads comes up from development sections of other devices. If you've used MIUI you'd know there's the famous Andy's mod called 'Extended Settings' which allows all the status bar tweaks from its app. I was looking for a similar solution for CM. There's this for CM9, which offers the same features. I was hoping something like that for CM7 as well.

Hey guys
i am ready to help you on testing for you "ANY" ROM on the international Samsung Galaxy S3 ( GT-I9300 )
BTW, my top best CM10/CM10.1 based ROMs is:[/I]
1- ParanoidAndroid ( because it's the most stable ROM i have ever tried )
2- Liquid ( it haves AOKP features and more )
3- SuperNexus ( Gives you the feeling of the real Android interface )
my top best Touchwiz based ROMs is:
1- Omega ( stable & customizable )
2- Sotmax ( didn't try it though but i think it's great )

3: No-one cares if you're ready to test ROMs. So are a lot of people but at least the others have the sense to actually go and try some ROMs rather than make a pointless thread.

You should give a few details about what is included. People who are happily using one ROM won't bother flashing another person's ROM that needs testing if no list of features are added explained.

This is my rom for the z1 2.5 official firmware based (because i think it's much better for battery life than 3.0)
V1.0:
Removed wechat
Removed Chinese Assistant
Added flitkeyboard
Added App installer
Added AOSP browser
Added AOSP calculator
Added SwitchKeyboard
Added Small inverted Gapps
Replaced stock bootanimation
Added Apps-Storage-Battery options to Settings.apk
Lightened the rom only around 80mb
INSTALLATION (FROM 3.0 you can't you have to use restore tool before):
Download the file
Rename it to update.zip
Put in the watch
Factory reset
Finally go to Settings/About/Firmware upgrade

Looks interesting. I know I can always delete myself...but many people on here request the removal of the sleep and health apps in addition to the aforementioned. Also, due to it's lack of cities, many don't care about the weather app...BUT this will affect the watch faces. I would like to know if there is a way that we can change weather providers or add cities to the stock app?
