Can you get to stock recovery and do a factory reset? If you really screwed up your EFS folder, and you don't have a backup of it, you won't be able to make calls ever again, and you IMEI number is gone. You'll have a 5.7 inch media player.
In such cases, a Samsung Service Center trip might be your only option.

Just to note to people replying in this thread, this guy already has a thread open about this and has tried all the script fix tricks.

That's why you flash a stock rooted MF9 ROM if you want to be on the latest and rooted.

S4 rebooting as soon as I boot it!?
Hi!
So I followed Djembeys guide to root my s4 back when ME2/MF2(or smthn in that matter)was the newest firmware avable. But now I wanted to go back to stock and update my phone and as stated in the guide that would be no problem, well OTA didn't work so i did it via Kies. It worked as expected for a while before my phone started freezing and rebooting itself forever, like as soon as i get into the launcher.
Things I've tryed to do:
*Checking in download mode that everything is official, it is, and the phone doesn't seem to reboot while in download mode, should I flash a stock rom, I mean, what if the phone shuts off in the middle of the process?
*Doing a factory data reset via stock recovery, the "android" in recovery falls down and a triangle at his stomach. However the data reset worked, but it didn't solve the problem, still reboots but now when the phone is trying to set itself up.
What can i do guys? You think i can send it back to the store seeing everything is official in download mode?
I was using galaxy s4 since last 8 months, but from last month it was restarting unexpectedly. I tried factory reset. But it did'nt helped as much. Yesterday i updated my phone to 4.4.2 kitkat. The problem is grown worse now. Also the power button is responding strangely,it is opening power menu instead pf getting locked even it is pressed quicky.
It just got stucked in boot loop. Please help me out.
Thanks in advance.
P.s -sorry for bad english

Try reflashing the stock rom!
Try flashing the stock rom again, you probably have bad system files.(Just an educated guess).
If that fails, then you should send it to the service center, hope i could help. Thank me if that helps xD
I am using the offical rom only. How can i reflash the rom ? Plz tell

You can also search for 4.3 ROMs and update them over OTA or Kies after flash.

Sorry, my fault, that just works for 4.3 to 4.2.2.
Are you able to boot in download mode?
If you can you are able to emergency recover your phone with kies.

didn't work
any other ideas?
Are you using an Nordic/Scandinavian variant? - if so, flash back to stock. There is some issues with them particular variants and has been since 4.4.2. - Even if you aren't I'd go back to 100% stock to be 100% sure first to determine if it may be a hardware issue also.
after i update my note 3 with kitkat 4.4.2 NH1
I had big problem with my all sensors stopped working such as ( auto rotation - air gesture - etc)
& when Write *#0*# & choice sensors test the result was like as my attached pic below

I see all values are zero, so there are the problem with the sensors (may be hardware problem or software problem).
Try to factory reset or flash the stock firmware.
If that does not help, you may need to go to the service center for warranty/repair.

Short answer: If it doesn't work with a clean flash of stock, then it's hardware defective.
