[Q] Any clean ROMs? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello.
At the momment I use Samsung Stock 4.4.2 with root and some mods with Xposed framework.
I'm tired of Samsung Crap, I'm tired of having my RAM full when I'm only using Viber and Facebook Messenger.
So I would like to install a very very clean ROM whether it's Samsung or AOSP or CyanogenMod based with no apps installed.
Which are these clean ROMs?

The most stable rom I know of is the Omega rom, it's not only
stable but it has all the bells and whistles anyone would want
in a custom rom.
Good luck!

Dont give him this advice. Almost every rom there is stable.
There is a reason that these questions are not allowed on XDA because he should just try it for himself.
Try Them Out
I personally found all roms stable, even the CM Beta releases.
However the developers always mention bugs etc. so you should try them out.
I personally ended up installing the stock , installed the xposed framework .
So far I've tried Foxhound, Wanam Lite and Omega. All TW based. Have to say that all of them were really quite stable. I personally prefer Omega though, it seems to be updated very regularly.
Stock rom is the most stable rom. Nothing beats it.

[Q] L7 e600 lag and closing apps

I have tried servial roms
and now im on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2552148
I have lot of lag and problems with apps not responding and closing.
tried things to grab more memory but doenst work.
Are there tips the get more stable or a tip to use a other rom?
im still on the kitkat because i like this the most.
Greetings and thanks
why you not post this in the thread of the rom,i think the dev can help better because its his rom you know?
The problem is im new (new account)
and i cant post there, because i need 10 postings or something.
So i asked here, but maybe there is a other more stable custom rom with lesser lag
If you want to have a more stable custom Rom then stick with cm10/android 4.1.2 based Rom.

KitKat ROMs are not as fluid and as slick as jellybean ROM. Also, L7 and L5 are made for Jellybean not KitKat
thanks for the answers i will try others

NBA2K15 on TW

NBA2K15 run slomotion in all TW base roms. How to solve this problem? In all cm rom and GPE run smooth. I already tried TW from KK to LL but still the game run slomo. I want it on TW cause the rom has less bug. Same result stock & custom rom.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance..
It sounds like you've encountered Touchwiz throttling the CPU due to heat build-up. If there is a Touchwiz-compatible custom kernel available that doesn't incorporate that throttling, flash it in your custom recovery. Otherwise switch to a GPE ROM in the development sub-forums.

My phone is i9505, I am on gpe rom for a long time. The game run smooth in that rom but TW has a lesser bug than gpe in my opinion. This is the only reason why i am on gpe rom and not in TW. This is the only user app that installed on my s4 aside greenify, this is my past time during off work or breaktime:thumbup::beer:
Use Wanam Xposed or Samsung DVFS Disabler on Xposed to resolve the problem.
You need to disable DVFS.
Oh my...my memory is short. How could I forget Xposed @Lennyz1988?

Yep.

wich is most stable i9505 rom ?

Hello i want to know wich is the most stable aosp or tw rom for i9505 and wich is balanced betwen best battery life and performance i don t play heavy games i mostly surf on internet or listen to youtube ... my modem is XXXUHOJ2
Stock will give you best battery life. I used Albe95 Lollirom, it's based on stock ROM, and you can try Imperium ROM also (Imperium ROM is best deal if you want performance and battery life). AOSP or CM ROMs are not very good at battery life, but they are faster (no crap apps and samsung bloatware). I'm currently on CM13 Stable3 by JDC Team, and i can tell you stock ROM has 1 hour more SOT (Screen-on Time) than cm13.
Stock based rom are most stable. I recommend Able Lolirom 9 - no problem with anything + Imperium kernel 4.5 or newer if relesed. Second good room is Imperium - but you can experience little problems in last version.
Before I install any room I always unzip it on windows and manualy debloat from apps I dont use or replace it to any app (must change name to apk from rom).
I will try albe lolirom 9 and inperium 4.5 since i can't update modem to install imperium v 15 can someone give me some stweaks for battery life and still that the phone to work good ?
You may also the latest Kushan ROM --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/touchwiz-lollipop-leaked-rom-i9505-t3027063. I can say that the ROM have better battery and performance as I'm currently running it on my S4-i9505(we have the same modem).
I love the new version of Imperium (v15) but having issues on cellular coverage even before/after installing the latest modem and bootloader. You may try it out and see if the ROM will work fine for you.

I haven't tried it when any third party launchers, but probably just with touchwiz, cause it's a touchwiz theme engine.

Which is the best rom for the samsung s5?

Just wanted to know.
[S5 SM-G900F]
Which roms are the most stable?
Also which roms offer the most performance or battery life?
What kernels should i use for mm or n?
So far i tried SkiesROM UX v3.1. Which is decent but has some problems. Going to try Resurrection Remix N now.
Thanks.
I'm usig the latest stock:
Debloated, Rooted, Tweaked, Xposed
Working grea,t Stability and batterylife is the greatest.
"Best" is subjective
You'll have to try them out to see what you like the best. Read the threads of each ROM to see what to expect for stability/battery/performance
I am using viper os it's buttery smooth it's on android 7.1.2 and it's blazing fast
Performance?
Any recent AOSP ROM on 7.1.2. RR if I had to pick.
Battery life?
Rooted, debloated, stock Sammy ROM
Stability?
Same as above. Stock ROM.
Kernel?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Included kernel.
just installed latest and its really good (subjective) https://download.lineageos.org/kltedv

ROM? Sammobile (select unbranded firmware).
Root? SuperSU
xposed? Check xposed for Samsung thread
Had my S5 for more than two years, and the circle is closed. Will be running stock with Magisk, Xposed and the Boeffla-kernel for the rest of its remaining life (1-2 years). Most important for me is stability and battery life. I miss the synchronised volume with BT though that LinageOS got.

I'm using
G900FXXS1CQH1
I can make a dump. So you just have to install the rom and the needed apps.
There is no more i can find to optimize.

Im using MM Lite, very fast n heavily debloated...
xposed is working too...
So far so good...
Yes. But it's an old Securitylevelpatch and some useful apps from samsung ain't on board.
Can you please give me suggestion what to do with my Samsung S5? (just root phone and leave stock or install some rom?).
The reason I want to root is that now phone is sometimes slow. I have problems with messenger and whatsap apps for the past 1 year. Also there are some random bugs where phone freeze for several seconds or just restart.
For me, it's most important that phone and internet are stable/no freezing or dropping (I share internet from phone to PC for work). Also, I would like top
not have so many applications.. only those necessary and I will install what I want from google store.

Try crdroid. It's has great battery life, is really fast and no bugs, as far as I know. Been using it for months now.
Using first 6.0.1 stock rom, and all is good.
Sent from my klte using XDA Labs
Old thread but why make a new one for the same question. What's the best performance/battery rom for nougat right now? I'm on KLTE. Tried crDroid then went with stock lineage and I honestly think its crap.
